Morgana Faye flinched when Hannah led a heavily bandaged Abbie and Riley into her shop. "H-hello, Hannah. Did... did something happen that I should know about?"
"Sparring match gone wrong," Hannah said. "Abbie and Riley here got a little too into the spirit of things, so Selena asked me to take them here for some magical healing."
"How bad is it?" asked Morgana.
"Bad," Abbie said emphatically. "Someone tore one of my balls clean off!" The basketball team captain shot Riley a death glare.
"It was an accident, I swear!" Riley cried. "I'd never castrate a fellow werehyena on purpose, not even Abbie!"
"Let's see the damage," Morgana said as she stepped out from behind the counter. She and Dani began to unbandage the two wounded werehyenas, exposing their fresh wounds. "Okay, most of this looks treatable. Just let me fetch the appropriate salves."
Morgana ran over to a shelf and began loading her arms with several antique-looking jars. She returned to her patients, opened a jar, and began smearing its ointment into Abbie's gashes. Dani opened another jar and did the same to Riley. After a minute or two, the bleeding stopped as if the werehyenas had just lightly scraped themselves. Morgana then asked Abbie to shift into her hyena form. Once this was done, Morgana lifted up Abbie's hefty penis and whispered a quick spell over hir torn scrotum, and the flesh began magically knitting back together.
"Is... is there anything you can do to regrow my missing testicle?" Abbie asked the witch as she returned to human form.
"Yes and no," Morgana answered. "You see, There's a potion that can help you, but it requires a rare ingredient: tanuki semen. Fortunately, we're expecting a pair of tanuki guests tomorrow when the student exchange program begins. I'll be able to brew the potion and restore your sperm factories to full capacity then. You're actually the second werehyena in need of that potion that I know of. I've also been asked to brew it for Enzi Njenga, that Fort Hyde werehyena who Kibibi Mwangi castrated before shi set off for Stokerville."
"I wonder if Kibibi feels as guilty as I do," Riley mused.
"There you go!" Morgana crowed as she finished. She proudly surveyed Abbie and Riley's now unblemished bodies. "Good as new! Here, take some of these healing salve pots for your packmates. They may not be quite as banged up as you two were, but I'm sure they all have some claw marks to get rid of."
Abbie and Riley accepted the pots and got dressed before leaving with Hannah. "Thanks for everything!" Hannah called to Morgana just before shutting the shop door behind her.
"¡Caray!" Dani exclaimed, shaking her cat-eared head. "Those tanuki cojones are going to get a serious workout. I just hope Riley and Kibibi aren't repeat offenders."
"From the look on her face, I doubt Riley plans on performing any more amateur neuterings," Morgana mused. "As for Kibibi, perhaps being forced to flee Enzi's wrath knocked some sense into hir."
"For the sake of the peace around here, I hope so," Dani said. "Werehyenas adorar their cojones, you know. If any more castrations happen, there could be... violencia extrema."
"I have faith in Alpha Selena's ability to prevent an intra-pack feud over a sparring gone wrong, especially with help from Clan von Karnstein," said Morgana. "The vampires want peace in Stokerville's magical community as much as we do. I'm honestly more worried about the werewolf pack Selena's parents lead. Given thee two packs' relative strength, Alpha Caleb and that bitch of a mate he's got would be in a good position to demand that Selena march into this shop and buy something to turn herself and her packmates back into ordinary humans. If that happened, I'd have to cooperate to avoid putting Selena's life at risk."
Dani protectively felt her cat ears. "¡Ay! That'd be seriously mierdoso."
"That's why Selena's pack needs to grow large and powerful as quickly as it can," Morgana nodded to her apprentice. "Well, time to begin my next shift on gate-opening duty. I'll go relieve Vivi. Honestly, Ellie and friends' trip to Kyūri's heya in Japan better be worth all the labor we're putting into it!" Morgana then disappeared into her shop's back room.
