It didn't take Serdan long to return with the cleaning utensils, and he immediately got to work gathering the liquid in the bedpan.
What Serad hadn't noticed was that most of the liquid had ended up on a nearby blue carpet.
The liquid had quickly soaked in, leaving only something that looked like a damp spot behind.
Serad looked at the bedpan after gathering everything he saw and noticed that it seemed less than before, but shook his head,
thinking he was just imagining things.
He put the bedpan against Beth's lips, pouring the liquid down her throat, and waited.
He had expected that it would come out again, but after almost ten minutes had passed, Serad realized that it seemed to be staying inside.
Beth still hadn't woken up, but Serad decided to lie her down in her bed first, thinking it may take her a while to wake up.
On his way out of the room, Serad walked over the carpet, stepping onto the wet spot on it, prompting him to look down,
but he didn't make the connection between the stain on the carpet and Beth's soul, simply whiping his shoe on a dry spot before leaving,
as Beth slowly soaked further into the carpet.
