"Well well well... if it isn't the smell of fresh curse wafting off this one... ooh, two no less, no wait," she sniffs the air, "might that be three? All so fresh too. Well my dear, you're either very stupid or very unlucky. What's say you come with me. Test some potions, learn some little tricks. Who knows, I might even be able to remove all of these... ooh, and that sword of yours? Yes, yes, powerful magics on there... I know some people who'd love to get their hands on a thing like that..."
Sam sighed. There weren't any other obvious options, and at this rate she was likely to end up as something much worse if she kept bumbling around.
The witch, as it happened, was true to her word. Sam did have to give up her katana, the witch apparently having a number of clients who were quite keen on being transformed like she had been, but she at least gave her something that kept any werewolfism "surpressed." She also gave Sam a few basic lessons in magic, and at least an attempt at a lesson in making charms and potions herself. Sam stayed with the witch for a full three months, learning what she could about the nature of curses, this world she was trapped in, and the way her new body worked, until one day the witch presented her with a "graduation challenge." Sam was to create her own magical charm before heading out into the world to try and solve whatever "challenges" she had to to get back to the real world.
She took a deep breath, remembered her lessons, and started to work.
