Sam keeps trying to explain everything that's happened to her. How there was a wolfman in the woods, how her body had been transformed, and she was under a curse. Eventually the healer told her, "I understand. You're lucky to have found me, I have a family relic that can restore you to your proper form."
Sam was relieved. Much longer and she was likely to turn into a monstrous wolf, after all. The healer left, coming back an hour later, carrying an ancient dusty scroll.
"Long ago, someone from your home came to live among our people. She fell in love with one of the locals, and hoped to wed him, but such things were forbidden. The pair begged a shaman for some sort of solution, and he granted it, but only on the insistence that the woman keep this scroll, which would return her to her home, and restore her to the body she had before coming here."
"Perfect!" Sam exclaimed. "Thank you so much!"
"My grandmother never felt a need to use it. It feels only right to finally expend its magics to help another." With that, the healer read from the scroll, which disintegrated in a swirl of bright glowing runes that surrounded Sam. She could feel her body changing again, as completely as before, and the healer's home faded from her sight...
At that point, Sam became aware of three very important facts.
She wasn't back in the normal world, nor in the village, but some collection of tents surrounded by trees.
She was still a woman, if anything even curvier than before.
Her hands were covered in fur, her tail was pinched underneath her, and if she looked in a mirror, she'd most likely see that she was another of the oddly cute humanoid wolf people who were staring in shock as she appeared out of thin air in front of them.
