Transform or Dare?

Take a Seat

added 11 months ago BM I

Jen heard her phone ring. "I'll answer it later, I need to get to school," she thought, secretly afraid that the curse was real. She packed up her things and got on the bus when it arrived. The bus ride to school was uneventful, but she mulled over what Kyle had said. "No way that stupid curse can be true," she muttered to herself.
When she got to school she went straight to her first class. She always made sure to get to class early, so there were a few minutes left before class began. She sat down in her chair at her desk, and got all her books ready.
Suddenly, her phone rang. Without thinking, she answered it, as she had a moment before she had to put it on silent when her teacher came in.
"Hello, this call is to inform you that your auto warranty has expi-"
"Damn spam calls," Jen said as she hung up her phone. She went to put her phone into her pocket when she realized that she no longer had pockets. Her upper half remaining unaltered, she flailed frantically and tried in vain to get up and run out of the room. Her chair half, however, would not budge. Gingerly, through frightened whimpers, she traced her fingers over the hardened plastic of her seat. She felt it as easily as she felt her own skin, but having no muscles or tendons or joints, it was inert and beyond her control. Jen began to cry in fear, sadness, and rage. "I'm going to murder Kyle, that little brat," she swore to herself.
Without her realizing, the classroom had filled up, and every other seat in the room was occupied. Jen's teacher, Ms. Morris, walked into the room with a boy Jen's age.
"Alright class, this is your new classmate, Martin. He's going to be learning with us from now on. Martin, find an empty seat please."
Hearing this, Jen gasped. The next thing she knew...
