You watched, half in terror and half in curiosity, as your girlfriend's body shifts. First black hair– no, black fur starts slowly growing all over her body. Then you notice a bulge at her back. A tail is starting to form. You notice she's starting to double over in pain so you go and catch her. “let's get you to the couch so you don't have to be in pain on the floor.” You said to her. She tries to say something but she's in to much pain to do much. You notice she's starting to feel lighter while you're bringing her to the couch, and at first you don't know why. Then you notice she's a few inches shorter than she should be. You finally bring her to the couch and she lays down and curls up in pain. Her tail is longer than the last time you checked, and her hands are getting stubbier while her nails become sharper and start to retract into her new paws. Her feet are now also paws. her legs shift and start to look like cat legs. Finally, her face elongates while her ears become triangular. Her eyes become slits, her nose becomes that of a cat's, her teeth become sharp, and her voice sounds more cat–like. There's a silence for a few minutes. neither of you know what to do or say. Your girlfriend slowly gets up, still on two legs. She's at least a foot shorter than she used to be and looks very dizzy. “Are you okay?” you say. “I–I'm f–fine. I just n–need to catch m–my breath.” she struggles to say with her cat–like voice. She goes to walk and falls over. This time you weren't quick enough to catch her. She gets up and goes to the bathroom. You wait for her to come back out. She doesn't for a while, so you go and knock on the door. “Are you okay in there?” you ask. “Yeah. I was just getting used to this body. It feels so... good to be like this. I'll be out in a bit.” she says, this time really clearly. “Okay. I'll be waiting when you come out of there.” You wait for another minute and she comes out of the bathroom. You didn't notice when you were concerned with her health, but now, you notice just how hot she looks to you. She walks up to you and asks, “so, now what do you want to do?”
