Before Angie could use the Chronivac, the door bell rang. Then, she heard two pair of legs running up the stairs.
"Angie!" Chloe greeted with Vanessa standing behind her.
"Hey guys," Angie greeted her friends. She didn't spend a moment pondering why she maybe shouldn't share the device. "Check this out!"
The two girls ran to the computer. "A game? Is it like Sims?" Chloe asked.
"Kind of," Angie said. "but you can like pick ourselves. Look here, I can pick Vanessa, and then a bunch of stuff about her shows up."
"Wow," Vanessa said in awe. It had her age, height, weight, and much more. It all seemed correct at first glance.
"What happens if you change stuff around? Chloe asked.
"I don't know. I haven't tried," Angie shrugged.
"Let's do it then. I think what will happen is that like the other numbers will change too, so then if we change Vanessa's age, we can find out all about adult you. Like, aee you still going to be short?"
"Hey!" Vanessa replied. "I'm not short. I'm average. You're just freakishly tall. And besides, it's not like the game is going to know the future."
"Yeah yeah," Chloe edited the age field. "Let's find all out about 20 year old Vanessa! Let's go!" she pressed apply changes.
Angie and Chloe looked at the computer screen to see what would happen.
"Guys," Vanessa said. "Something weird is happening."
The two girls turned around to face Vanessa. She was stretching up, maybe standing on her tippy toes? No she wasn't. Her feet were firmly planted on the ground.
"I think it's the program," Angie said.
"Make it stop!" Vanessa yelled.
"Uh, I don't know how," Chloe said.
"Please please please," Vanessa begged. She was beginning to freak out.
"It's not dangerous I think." Angie tried to calm her down. She jumped off her chair to give the changing girl a hug. She embraced her, causing her rapid breathing to slow. "I think," Angie started. "Like, um, it's changing you to 20 because of what Chloe did."
Vanessa shot a glare at Chloe.
"I was just testing it out," Chloe defended herself.
"Don't use me as a guinea pig!" Vanessa yelled, her voice much less childlike, and speaking of, Angie, as she still was hugging Vanessa, was beginning to feel something pushing from Vanessa's chest. Boobies.
"I'm gonna tell mom!" Vanessa yelled. She released the hug and stood up properly. She was very much looking like an adult woman. Chloe and Angie were in awe of what the program had done. She was so pretty. The adult-bodied Vanessa was less entertained. She stormed off angrily, not letting either of the girls get a good look of her finished transformation. Angie and Chloe didn't manage to say a word for a few moments.
"That's so cool," Chloe broke the silence, caring less about Vanessa being angry, and being more amazed of what just happen.
"But she's gonna tell," Angie said. "If our parents find out, then they might take it."
"You're right, but let's see," Chloe turned back to the Chronivac. "We still have Vanessa here on the game. There's probably something here we can stop her with."
