As much as she felt her inhuman (superhuman?) urges prowling within her, Zoe kept silent, using her ears to monitor when the coast would be clear enough for her to sneak out again and snag bigger clothes for herself. Pants especially -- the t-shirt she had now that was only just able to cover her chest she could maybe get away with wearing in public, but the pants had to fit. It seemed like forever, especially with the demon's presence seemingly pacing around in her mind waiting for her to give in already, but eventually Zoe made her move, sneaking back out of the dressing rooms and grabbing the nearest pair of pants that she was reasonably sure could fit, some jeans which while tighter than what she was used to seemed to be able to do the job.
With the clothing part finally finished, Zoe returned to the back room and snuck out to the service corridors again, recalling from her previous part-time job working at this mall where the exit to the parking lot was, ignoring the one or two people that might have seen her by acting as though she was supposed to be there in order to avoid another incident. From there she picked up her pace despite being barefoot -- the asphalt and dirt wasn't the most comfortable thing to walk on, but she couldn't waste any more time getting to Casey's house, especially since Zoe's phone had been wrecked back at the mall bathroom. A few brief thoughts about how Casey would look once she met, her eyes fluttering as her clothes were removed and she took-- no! Zoe pushed those thoughts away. That was not why she was going there. She was going there to explain what was going and smooth things over like mature people.
By the time she made it to Casey's house it had to have been an hour, maybe 90 minutes since Zoe had transformed back to human. The feelings within were certainly getting stronger and more difficult to keep under control. Nevertheless, Zoe walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell, waiting a few seconds before the door opened and showed Casey, who needed a moment to look at the woman at the door. "Hello? Wait...Zoe, is that you? You look...different."
