"We have to like check if it actually worked. We need to make sure Vanessa isn't be telling on us," Chloe said.
"Uh, okay," Angie nodded.
The two girls then went downstairs to where Vanessa went. Entering the living room, Vanessa was nowhere to be seen, only Angie's mom was there, sitting on a coach reading on her Kindle.
"Mom? Did you see Vanessa come here?"
Her mom lowered her Kindle and turned towards her daughter, "No, I haven't seen anyone come here, other than Chloe just now. Why are you asking?"
"Oh!" Chloe exclaimed. "Do you know who Vanessa is?"
"No, I don't," mom replied, "but I guess it's a friend of yours. I can't remember her name, but maybe I've seen her?"
"Nevermind," Chloe said. "It's not important." She then pulled on Angie's arm. "We're going upstairs again."
"Alright then," mom sighed. She went back to reading again.
The two girls then rushed back upstairs. Once back in Angie's room again, Angie was confused. "What happened? Are we the only ones that can remember Vanessa? We didn't like mess up and delete her, right?"
"No, relax, Vanessa is fine, I think I know what's goin on," Chloe said confidently. "We made her an adult right, and then we made it so like she always was an adult, and that means that we created like a whole different world where Vanessa was not out friend."
"Vanessa is not our friend anymore?" Angie was a bit spooked.
"No, she's still our friend. This is just like, um, I'm not sure I can explain it, but we can always go back. This is just temporary. We're going to bring her back to normal later."
"Uhm, I see," Angie didn't completely understand, but Chloe's explanation calmed her down. She guessed it was fine when none of this was permanent. "But where is Vanessa? Where did she go?"
"I don't know," Chloe shrugged, "But the game probably knows."
The two girls went back to the computer. It still showed Vanessa's stats, including her location data shown in both coordinates and descriptive text. "So, she's at Evan's apartment," Chloe pointed out.
"Who's Evan?" Angie asked. "Wait, Do you think it's her boyfriend? Since she'd an adult, she might have a boyfriend, right?"
The girls looked through Vanessa's stats to see if they could find anything to confirm that. They found the relationships tabs, and there it was, boyfriend: Evan Marquideux. "She got a boyfriend," Angie squealed. "Do you think they are like," she blushed, "kissing?"
"Ooh, maybe they are," Chloe giggled.
"Is there any way we could like see her Vanessa and her boyfriend?" Angie was curious. "Could we visit them?"
"They're not that far away," Chloe glanced at the location information. "But we can't just walk in there, unless," she smiled "We use the game again. There's probably some way we could visit Vanessa with this game."
