A flurry of knocking startled both women as Maria held the dice.
"We know you are in here you thief. Give us back those dice."
Maria looked down at the dice in question. They must be more valuable than what she had thought.
She shoved the dice into Julia's hands, "Hide those right now and stay down. I'll get them to go away." The Latina turned to open the roomette door.
Julia looked around to see if there was anywhere at all to hide the dice as the knocking and voices outside seemed to get angrier.
She had just found a hiding space when a voice was heard by both of them.
