The Pig was still bothered could potentially be a threat if she somehow woke up.
He thought for a moment, before coming up with a course of action that would render her mostly harmless to him.
It wasn't possible to get rid of her, but he could break her mind down and alter it, until she wouldn't even be able to think of taking control.
The Pig entered Beth's mind again, much more carefully this time to avoid waking her up, and started looking through it.
Beth's memories seemed like as good a place to start as any in his eyes.
He picked out any information that seemed useful and locked it down, so he could take it later, corrupting or erasing anything he deemed unimportant along the way. What surprised him was that Beth came from a different world according to her memories.
Allowing her to have that information seemed like a bad idea to him, so he copied as much knowledge and information from that world as possible into his own mind, before completely purging that part of her mind.
Anything he hadn't copied would be lost, and he risked Beth waking up, but the knowledge of that world seemed foreign and dangerous.
He couldn't understand it yet, but he was unwilling to take the risk that something from that world's knowledge could be used against him.
The memories shattered, breaking into jumbled shards. After he made sure that there was nothing left intact, he decided to replace it.
Memories started to take shape, made from the Pig's own, into which he occasionally inserted the shards.
As he was wondering how to adjust them, inspiration struck.
He would allow her to remember the fact that she came from a different world, and used to have a different body.
But he would make her think that she used to be a sow. If he did things correctly, then Beth may become useful to him.
She would remember living as a sow, only breeding, eating, shitting, and sleeping, while the shards of her memories served as set dressing.
He even used the appearance of her previous self, taken from mirriors, and added her into the memories as someone that occasionally watched Beth in her pen, just one of many visitors that she paid little attention to.
He finished it by altering her encounter with the Witch, making her think that she was rescued, just as she was about to be butchered.
Then he moved on to the memories of her second life...
Beth was grateful that the Witch saved her from the slaughterhouse, but she was deeply unhappy with her life as a queen.
She was used to her life as a pig and ended up gaining weight, which was seen as unattractive, a fact she only later discovered.
She was overwhelmed by everything, which made her incompetent, which in turn made her hated.
She was constantly attacked by 'Heroes' that she turned into animals, only to be seen as evil for it.
It got so bad that she jumped on the opportunity to become a cow, just to get away from everything.
But her new owners trapped her and abused her, until she managed to escape.
That was when she decided to become the only thing she was used to, a sow.
But even the attempt to discard her own body and take that of a sow failed.
It was pure luck that she ended up in the pig pen, where she was eaten by the Pig.
The Pig would probably do better than her at least, and perhaps, someday, she would be a sow again.
It took the Pig a lot of time and effort to alter Beth's memories to such a degree, and he didn't even know for sure if it would stick,
but if it did, then Beth could turn from a potential hinderance into an asset.
He made sure to implant the notion of constant failure into her memories, which would, hopefully, make her reliant on him.
She would stay dormant for now, but he would release her once he believed she was ready, and perhaps even find a way to split her off and put her back into her own body, while keeping most of her magic of course.
