“Evelyn?” Layla asked once again, breaking her from her trance. She had to make her decision, and now…
“It’s… it’s hard to explain!”
“Then explain it!” Layla said, “I’m worried what’s going on with you, did I do something that’s making you act differently? If I did, just tell me and I’ll try and fix it, just talk to me, Evelyn!”
“I just..!” Evelyn stuttered, stammered, “I wish you would understand everything!”
Layla’s eyes suddenly fluttered, “w-what is… why is…” she looked completely starstruck, “I feel so weird,”
“W-what did I do…” Evelyn asked,
“You? How would have…” Layla started, but she fell to the ground, “you… that ring, all the power in the universe…” she said, unable to even stand back up, “t-time… space… everything… it’s making sense…”
“W-what?” Evelyn asked,
“I understand!” She said with a look of relief on her face, “I understand everything!”
“Oh shit…”
“It all makes sense! I know the universe, it’s mysteries, it’s questions. The answers, they’re all in my mind!”
“I think this is too much…”
“No!” Layla said, “it’s not enough!” She cried, I know everything, but there’s still more to discover! I can feel everything, past or present!”
“Alright,” Evelyn said, frightened for her girlfriends wellbeing, “I wish Layla would—”
“NO!” Layla said, launching herself off the ground, pushing her huge chest into Evelyn’s body, causing her to fall over.
Layla was now on top of Evelyn. As frightened as Evelyn was, she couldn’t deny she was turned on, “you have to understand,” Layla said, “I wish you would understand!”
“I-I don’t want to know everything, I’m happy living in bliss. In ignorance,”
“I WISH YOU WOULDN’T FEEL THAT WAY,” Layla shouted, Evelyn looked deep into her eyes, they were no longer that of someone who was mortal, she was beginning to understand beyond the universe, “I WISH I WAS THE MOST POWERFUL BEING ON THE PLANET, I WISH I WAS A GOD!”
“Layla, you can’t just wish to become a god!”
“I know, but you can!!” Layla cried, “PLEASE!” She shouted, “make me a GOD! I KNOW EVERYTHING ALREADY, I CAN CURE HUMANITY!”
Evelyn was now genuinely scared of Layla, she couldn’t do anything, “I-I wish… I wish this would all end!!” She screamed.
Everything went dark.
—
Evelyn opened her eyes in distress, her eyes adjusted to her surroundings.
The first thing she noticed was that she was completely nude, stuck in a pit of some kind…
“What the hell is going on here..?” She asked, but no one answered. She pulled herself out of the pit, looking around. Everything was so green, so natural. As she walked around, she was overwhelmed by how nice everything was. She was truly standing in a utopia.
As she approached what seemed to be a street, she jumped back as two gigantic people looked down at her,
“We’ve found her!” One said with joy, their voice low. They looked human, except huge. They both lacked genitalia, but they walked around completely nude. They both had breasts with no nipples, and their faces were beautiful. They seemed human, but they were not the humans she was used to.
One of the beings picked her up, sprouted wings and began flying up to a gigantic cathedral looking building in the clouds.
As Evelyn opened her eyes once more, she was greeted by more of these beings, all treating her with the utmost respect. She was walked down a long hallway before finally seeing a familiar face,
“Layla!”
“My dearest Evelyn!” Layla said. She was the only normal looking person there,
“W-what the hell is going on right now!?”
“This?” Layla asked, “this is my world,”
“Your world?” Evelyn asked, “what do you mean?”
“I must tell you. When you granted me the wisdom of the universe and beyond, I had to perfect humanity. And I did!”
“Y-you perfected humanity, how? How can you just change the course of all of humanity?”
“I know everything, I knew exactly what to do. I knew how to live forever. It’s been over six billion years since I last saw you,”
“WHAT!?” Evelyn shouted, “a-and it took me that long to come back!?”
“N-no… in fact you were gone,”
“How?”
“Well, that wish you made, for it to end. It made you disappear… permanently,”
“B-but… how am I here?”
“I know everything, so I knew how to bring you back. It was difficult, but after all this time it was all I wanted,”
“S-so why bring me back now?”
“Because I have completed my journey,”
“What?”
“Humanity is perfectly, I’ve made peace with every colony in the entire universe, everyone, everything, it’s perfect!”
“Th-that didn’t answer my question…”
“R-right… yes,” Layla hesitated, “y-you see, once you’ve done everything, there isn’t anything else for you to do. I have no more reason to live…” she said, nodding at one of the beings. It lifted down a small box which Layla took, opened, and moved for Evelyn to look inside,
“The ring?” Evelyn asked,
“It was all that remained,”
“And you used it to build your… Utopia?”
“No. I have never touched it. I understand everything, and I understand that that ring defies all of my knowledge. It is simply the one product I do not understand,”
“And what do you want me to do with it?” Evelyn asked, taking the ring from the box, placing it on her finger.
“I want you to take us back. Back to the moment you made that wish,”
“Which one?”
“Where you gifted me my knowledge,”
“I-I… so you want me to erase everything you’ve done here? This world you’ve created!?”
“No. It will always have existed, but this ring can reset the universe. Take yourself back, live your life. With me,”
“Y-you… I live my life with you?”
“Yes,”
“O-okay…” Evelyn said, getting a little upset with the prospect of leaving this version of Layla behind. But this Layla feels nothing, she is content with her life, her world she’s created. She simply smiles at Evelyn,
“May I love you in another life,”
“I love you…” Evelyn says, tears pouring down her face, “I-I wish… I wish I am back at the moment before I gave Layla the knowledge of the universe, I wish this world never existed, and everything is back to exactly how it was all those years ago,”
Layla smiles at Evelyn, as her vision fades to black.
