"Well I haven't tried this one yet," said Emily, switching the camera to fusion mode and looking for a target.
After a few minutes she found another pair of mall goers whose lives might end up better. A short Asian girl whose tall blond boyfriend was practically dragging her into a game store.
One quick flash later, and there was just a sole teen boy, of average height, looking maybe half-Asian with shaggy bleached hair. He sighed, entered the shop, and came out shortly thereafter, game in hand, looking a bit miserable, and hurrying towards the exit.
"Wait, where'd the girl go?" asked Rick. "This... definitely doesn't seem like an improvement."
"Well, the mode was called 'fusion' so I guess it combined them into one person? And he was the taller of the two, so, that might effect things?"
"Well that would mean you just kinda deleted a person from existence, doesn't it! You've gotta fix it!"
"Well I don't know how!"
"Oh let me see that camera!"
Rick went to grab the camera from Emily's hand to look for a way to fix things, but her finger was still on the shudder button, and in the middle of resting it away, the camera went off.
Rem blinked a few times, looking around worriedly for her parner in crime. Looking around the area she eventually saw a mirror, reflecting a rather busty teenage girl with a mix of Rick and Emily's features. Brownish hair with red highlights, camera in hand, and her purse over her shoulder. Thinking about what didn't fit with her appearance, her jumbled and conflicting memories caused her to realize what had gone wrong, but how was she going to fix it and get back to being two separate people?
