The next day you awoke & found that you had mouse feet now. You saw your shoes & socks were missing. You sighed leaving your room & saw your parents had mouse feet too & were barefoot too. You asked the question you believed to be obvious "We don't shoes or socks, right?" Your parents looked at you odd & your mom answered "Why would we?" You said with a sigh "Forget I ever asked." You headed off to school. At school you ran into Brad. He was no different then yesterday. He was still a snake creature. "Ssstarting to look good prey." Brad hissed slithering up to you. You looked at him & begged "Please don't eat me & my parents after we become mice fully." He laughed replying "I will eat you all. It's my nature." "Please." You begged nearly in tears. He told you "I want to. And I will. You can do nothing about it." Realizing you can't talk him out of it you asked "At least give us a fighting chance." Brad asked seeming confused "What you asking?" You answered "Let us go and hunt us like the predator you are. Hunt us as the snake you are. Give us a fighting chance; even if it's a slim one." He turned away from you. Brad began hissing a bit which truly scared you. He was a large snake after all. He turned back & reached a hand with the words "Deal." You took his reptilian hand (felt a bit cold) & shook it with a oddly thankful "Thanks." You knew Brad to be a terrible person (now snake creature) but he always keeps his word. You let go of each others hands & Brad hissed in a very predatory tone "Hunting mice feelsss right when I think about it in my ssssnaky sssoul." He then slithered away from you. [This is all kinds of fucked up! I made a deal with a predator on how he kills me and my parents after we are fully mice! Why is this happening to me? To Us? What did me & my parents do to have this happen to us?] You thought confused, shocked, angry, scared, ect. You were an emotional rollercoaster. And who could blame you? But only you & Brad the snake creature will know why.
