You couldn't see much left after drowning in a tank full of the serum you were inside, as if you were unconscious. While you fainted, the military connected your tank to a helicopter wire, and flew you off of the island, while giving the other scientists a ride, and you all get off the island by air in minutes.
On the way to Girlzilla's location, she was on a rampage across America, where she was stomping on military tanks, and air force jets. The soldiers were struggling, while at the same time you could hear the military shooting missiles, and the sound of Girlzilla causing destruction at every turn. By the time the helicopter carrying your tank arrived, a cable broke during one of the attacks, and your tank fell to the ground, with you still inside. After crashing on the ground, the glass finally broke, and you got out.
