"Spark! Spark, come on, snap out of it." Connor begged to his girlfriend who he could see was crying due to something in her nightmare.
"Amara, can you send me in there to wake her up?" Connor asked.
"I can, but I'll have to go with you. Whatever she's dreaming about is affecting her very deeply more than anyone else here it seems." Amara said as she and Connor entered Spark's dream.
Amara and Connor looked around and saw Spark crying over what looked like Connor's dead body. Connor was initially taken aback a moment but he took in a deep breath and went over to Spark.
"Spark, Spark, listen to me this isn't real, it's only a nightmare." Connor tried to say to Spark.
"I....I...I did this to you.....you're going to die and it's going to be all my fault....." Spark said still crying.
"Come on Spark, I'm real. Not this thing you're crying over." Connor said trying to get her to come back but Spark still seemed not to be listening.
"I've never seen her like this. I don't know what else to tell her." Connor said unsure.
"Connor, tell her your nightmare." Amara suggested.
"My nightmare?"
"What's the worst thing that happened in your dream?" Amara asked him.
"Spark....Spark said she didn't love me, that she never loved me. That everything we've been through together meant nothing. It doesn't seem scary or like a horrible nightmare, but it made me feel empty. Deep down, I have that fear that she doesn't love me at all." Connor admitted.
"....bullshit." Spark suddenly said.
"Spark?" Connor said looking over at Spark who was wiping away her tears.
"That's complete bullshit Connor Moreland. Do you want to know how much I love you? I love you more than the fairy kingdom, I love you more than the planet, the universe, and every single being alive. I want to go on as many dates as possible with you, I want to walk down the aisle in a wedding dress and kiss you at the alter. I want us to have children, whether they're human or fairy or human fairy hybrids, I don't care! I fucking love you Connor Moreland and I'm sick to death of nightmares telling me otherwise." Spark said as the nightmare suddenly became the Moreland family farm and Connor and Spark stood together in a suit and wedding dress with the two kissing passionately.
"Damn, do you think our parents will care if we get hitched after school?" Connor joked.
Spark looked over at Amara and sighed.
"Thanks for...everything and helping me snap out of this." Spark said.
"You're welcome. I guess I was kind of jealous of your for a while. I mean look at you, a fairy with a hot boyfriend and I've no doubt he'll be a great husband down the road." Amara winked as Connor blushed and Spark nudged him a little.
The three of them came back into the real world in what seemed like a couple of minutes but was only seconds. Miles and Rei still needed to be awakened and Nat was still after the demon.
