Billy Maxwell was a 14-year-old high school freshman. He was short (5’0”), skinny (105), and an easy target for bullies. Every day he was cornered by a classmate, Pete Jacobs, who would shove him around and mock him.
Yesterday, when Billy had dared to throw a weak punch, Pete had retaliated with a blow to the face that left Billy with a black eye and laid out on the ground, crying.
So today, Billy particularly was dreading school, wondering what horrors lay in store for him. But he didn’t even get there before he tripped along his walk and landed in a puddle of white goo.
Disgusted, he tried to wipe it off. But the PLF (for that’s what it was) realized it had found the perfect host, and refused to go. Instead it spread and soon covered Billy’s entire body, obscuring it from sight.
The white mass seemed to grow larger, then the PLF began to retreat, showing what now lay underneath.
The boy was still clearly a young teen who bore a slight resemblance to Billy, but most everything else had changed. This boy stood 5’10”, and he weighed in at 190 pounds, all of it muscle. His chest jutted out several inches from his flat, ab-covered stomach, and his thick biceps paled next to even thicker legs. All of this was contained in new clothes: tight jeans that showed the veritable python in the crotch and a tight, open-buttoned Henley shirt. His face was incredibly handsome, with a megawatt grin that could melt girls’ hearts and charm guys too, framed by well-trimmed golden blond hair.
Billy stood there, panting, taking in what had happened. Could this really be true?
