Monica left the apartment and decided to join the rescue team. Meanwhile, one of the zoo officials approached Rob and said plainly, "Sir, I'm afraid we cannot leave a wild animal of this size on your property any longer. The front of your building must be demolished so we have enough room to escort the beast out."
Rob turned red with anger, "What gives you people the right to demolish MY property!?" The zoo official sighed and replied, "I assure you that the local zoo will pay for the damages." The landlord grumbled and said something quite rude under his breath before leaving the building so the demolition work could be done.
After about three hours, the demolition was complete, and the apartment building now had a hole large enough for Damon's massive form to fit through. The transformed man had fallen asleep shortly after the zoo workers arrived, exhausted from the shock of his new form. So when he was nudged awake by a worker, he was taken aback at the strange feelings of his body, having hope the transformation was just a nightmare.
Damon The elephant slowly stood up on his four leathery trunk-like legs, and awkwardly began to plod forward until he was outside of his apartment building. He wasn't used to walking on all fours and didn't want to accidentally crush a worker with his immense weight, so he took his time with each step.
Outside, Damon saw an enormous trailer attached to a truck, which he was quickly led locked inside of. The truck then pulled his trailer on a thirty-minute drive to the zoo. Upon arrival, he was led out of the trailer and into the animal arrival area. He was put in a temporary enclosure and left alone for about an hour, pondering his situation.
The former man was scared and confused, he didn't want to be an elephant forever. How was he supposed to find help if he couldn't talk to anyone? His only hope was that the amulet's effects were temporary. Suddenly the door to his enclosure opened, and Damon looked up with his massive head to see...
