While Spookyville was going on, there were a few events/activities that were more popular than others, such as the new Sunken Ship of Avarice Abyss or the Slaughterhouse. Fortunately, there was a new way of encouraging others to visit the other attractions (rather than painting panda markings on other animals, as one zoo did).
"Whoa there, you! C'mere, you!" a haggard old man called out as the Quasi-Raccoon Cuties entered the front plaza before separating. "You can't do the scavenger hunt without a list. Report to the Scavenging Skulls scattered around when you've got enough items for your first prize. Now git!"
"... I haven't even heard of half of these things." complained Naya, after looking the list over. "Where are we supposed to start?"
"Well," said Jin, reading the list over a few times, "I do know that the Star-born Sample is tied to the Alien Abduction attraction; the Voodoo Goo is related to the Mamba Wamba Swamp; and the Hexer's Charm can be found at Wiccan's Woods."
"What would we do without you?" asked Tani in delight, hugging Jin and smiling slightly at the slightly involuntary reaction Jin was having.

Meanwhile, two rhinos, one male and one female, were heading to Franken Castle for one unusual scavenger hunt item.
"So, we just have to enter into this place, explore the place to find the clue, make our way to the crypt, open the right sarcophagus, get Dr. Franken's 'stein', and get out?" asked the male.
"Da," confirmed the female, also confirming their identity. "But Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Wolfman won't make this easy."
"No," said Rod, shaking his head in irritation, "Frankenstein isn't the name of the monster. It's the name of the doctor who created the monster."
"Oh, right." said Ellie, somewhat sheepishly, but then changed the subject. "But why are you talking about what I get wrong about famous monsters?"
"It's for the same reason why you keep getting the information wrong." said Rod, not really blushing at the thought.
"Oh... right..." said Elly, also not really blushing, "My parents are double dosing themselves with my milk." At that, the dramatic lightning began flashing, the drawbridge began falling, and Dracula began his warning ("Stop! You are not welcome in the castle. Go now or abandon all hope of seeing the sun again.") that they were able to refocus their attention.

However, it wasn't all scavenger hunts and Halloween fun that was going on.
"So, these are old friends of yours from your old school?" asked Miss Fabina, looking over the list Gloria had submitted.
"They are." Confirmed Gloria, "Just remember they don't have to dance at the Meat Market if they don't want to."
"You seem to be enjoying it." reminded Miss Fabina, causing Gloria to turn a funny color in embarrassment. "However, they seem to be more focused on their choices for their new species. That's all right with me, I've already got my hands/paws full of dealing with those new... bimbos..." She trailed off, grimacing, as if the mere thought of those girls left a bad taste in her mouth.
"I can relate." agreed Gloria, having caught a sight of them once, and her "high class soul" started, internally, screaming in disgust at how trashy they were. If the... size of their clothes, which was barely enough to conceal the animal-print underwear, it was their language, which all seemed to be, for lack of a better term, 'bimbo speak'.
"At least their conversions will put some brain cells in there." said Miss Fabina, "I hope."
