Todd was on his knees playing with big brown dog who minutes earlier had been his human teammate. Coach Sinclair spotted the two
"Todd, you should know better than to bring your dog to school," Sinclair scolded.
"I didn't bring him, Coach. I - uh," Todd stammered.
"Oh, I get it. Your dog got out. He followed your scent here. Well, you can put him in my office until after practice. Come on bring your dog."
"Yes, sir. Come boy," Todd commanded.
Chad followed happily wagging his tail.
"Good boy, stay. I'll be back after practice to take you home. Be good."
Chad nodded his head and sat on his haunches.
"Now finish suiting up and get out there," said Sinclair as he locked his office door. Last thing he needed was one of his players' dogs running through the school.
