Nat was back in school after the weekend and couldn't be happier to be near her girlfriend and her own friends again. She now sat in Mr. Harris's class as bored as she could be in school as he was explaining history after Halloween.
"Now, some people think (including you all, I'm sure) that after Halloween, everyone is only thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas. These are the more well known, holidays, yes. But does anyone know any other holidays that come before then?" Mr. Harris asked.
Nat thought for a minute and was about to raise her hand, when her friend Miranda raised hers immediately up instead.
" Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead, Mister Harris, my father and Mama were actually setting it up last night as my brother and I were taking down some Halloween related decorations."
"Very good, Miranda. In some cultures, November first is also regarded as All Saints Day, but none the less, some believe that the time between Halloween and early November in the fall is when the spirit realm and the realm of the living are connected closer than before."
"Quick question Mister Harris: Can spirits posses people like in those movies and books?" Nat asked raising her hand.
"Well there have been cases of demon possessions over the years, but most would just write that off as nothing but a hoax, at least most would." Mr. Harris said.

Later that night at a town cemetery, a sixteen year old girl and her 42 year-old mother were visiting their grandparents.
"Mom, I really don't want to do this, they're not really there anyway. This is like some creepy horror shit movie or something." The daughter said.
"Don't you dare use that language in front of your grandparents." The mother said hitting her daughter on the shoulder.
"Whatever, I want to leave just as soon as I can, I want to....whoa, did you feel that?" The girl said as she started to shiver.
"Don't change the subject young lady, you and I are....actually you're right it is suddenly a little chilly and....and..." The mother began to say before she suddenly felt her entire body tremble as did her daughter.
The mother and daughter had felt chills because two spirits had entered their body. The minds of the deceased were now taking over their minds and bodies while the actual mother and daughter were more or less put into a sleep state inside of their own mind. When the mother and daughter were finished shaking, they looked over their bodies.
"Oh damn it, no! I thought I was going into the mother, not the daughter." The teenager said.
"Oh fuck yes, look at the fine boobs this woman is trying to hide." The woman said as she felt her breasts and showed them to the teenage girl.
"Tanya, don't do that! I want to switch bodies this instant." The teenage possessed girl said to 'Tanya'.
"Sorry, Sylvia, but you know the rule was that we have to choose one body to posses and we have chosen. You chose...poorly." The woman said.
"Don't call me by my first name, I'm your mother, remember." The teenage girl said stomping her foot.
"Well, not right now you are Sylvia dear. Looks like I'm going to be in the driver seat of this woman until our business is finished." Tanya said to Sylvia.
"Fine, but I hate the fact I have to play the teenage girl again. I haven't been a teenager since...I don't know, how long ago was the 1960s now?" Sylvia asked.
"According to these graves, the grandparents passed way back in....2009? Damn, it has been a long time, that was around the time when....when he killed us." Tanya sighed.
"Yes, but this time we've been given a chance to stop him, we just need help. We have to take down Ezekiel Kane for what he did to us. Hopefully we can find some help." Sylvia said as they made their way to what was the car that belong to the girl and woman they possessed.
"Uh, no way. You're not driving young lady." Tanya said as Syliva stuck her tongue out at her 'mother'.
"Whatever, let's go find these people that can apparently help us." Sylvia said as she got in the passenger side of the car.
"What were their names again?" Tanya asked as she started the car and began to drive away from the cemetery.
"The Morelands." Sylvia replied as they left the graveyard.
