Lots of suggestions erupted amongst the audience of course. Most regarded the usual animals seen in circuses, but the Ringmaster would have none of this. It would not do in the long run so he just listened to the ideas concerning domestic animals. The only performers were human beings, or close enough because of the transformations, or imaginary being formerly humans, and trained domestic animals. Wild animals deserved to stay in the wild in decent environments. Naturally, it made recruiting performers tricky, but oh so much fun. And amongst the ideas thrown by the audience, the wizard playing at being a ringmaster, one led to a great idea for a new attraction.
He approached Tayla and spoke softly to her.
"You are a cat. A beautiful white cat with a pure white fur and blue eyes. A very pretty cat indeed. So graceful. So feminine. So feminine in fact that you have the most adorable pink bow tied behind your neck. You look like the little cat girl from 'The Aristocats" so you drive a lot of people in. You love being pampered and looking after your appearance. No self-care is too expensive or too long for you. But that's normal. You are so pretty, from the tip of your pink nose to the tip of your ears and tail. You are worth it, especially as you can do the most amazing tricks. Your paws can allows you to grasp things and stand upright a little. You can perform the most adorable activities. And you love that! You love being cute. You love being adorable. How about we try? You'll swing happily from a perch. How would you like that? Then you'll put on perfume and comb and brush your fur. How about that?"
As the Ringmaster spoke, Tayla was introduced to new thoughts about a life she could not help but find irresistibly appealing. She'll be a pretty kitty! A most beautiful one! Doing adorable little things and being pampered! How could she say no? She just had to be that cat! And the Ringmaster was allowing her to be her! Her heart filled with happiness and gratitude, with the hypnotist sensed and smiled at. This was too easy. But so entertaining too. Gone were the more adult thoughts of Tayla that maybe she could read and learn about the world and had skills that could help her and others. Now she just cared about girly things and looking pretty. She still had a good heart, of course, but her mental capacities going beyond being interested in cuteness vanished. She loved what was cute and pretty. As her head filed with bubbly and sweet thoughts, her body altered itself. Her ears got pointy. A tail grew out of her backside. Her clothes vanished, replaced by the softest white fur and most adorable pink bow upon her neck. Her eyes become a clear blue and she shrunk dramatically. Soon she was a cat sitting near the feet of the Ringmaster, licking hr side to make herself presentable for her audience. All self-consciously because she had to be impeccable. She had to! Her image would bring applause and success. And the circus was her home so it had to bring in a wide audience. A public that adored her and wanted to see her do what she did best. Cute adorable tricks. Amongst the audience, everyone applauded, saying that the illusion and special effects were just unbelievable. The hypnotist wizard smiled inwardly, of course.
"Meet Chacha, our dainty damsel feline from Paris! Now that we have our newest star, how about an act?"
All clapped enthusiastically.
"Very well! Let's give her the right decor!"
With a puff of blue and pink smoke, he made a large painted-on canvas representing the typical decor shown to represent the city of Paris unfurl from the ceiling, as if it had always been there, complete with the Eiffel Tower and other monuments. The sort of scenery every tourist would like to see. With another puff of purple smoke, a perch appeared, its stand surrounded by a circle of soft pink roses. Tayla, now Chacha, had been hypnotized to know exactly what she had to do. She jumped upon the perch, no different than one found in a birdcage, and swung herself happily, elated by the adoration in the eyes of her public. She grasped the cords with her forepaws and placed her hind paws upon the bar of the perch. Everyone was amazed at the quality of puppetry involved.
"The beautiful mademoiselle! The Parisian dove! The French feline beauty! The pretty mam'zelle! Chacha the delicate dainty damsel!" bellowed the Ringmaster, to monumental clapping.
Afterwards, with yet another elaborate puff of purple smoke, he made a vanity table appear, a coiffeuse, full of brushes and cute little perfume and make-up setting. Chacha settled on the cushioned stool, powdered herself daintily with a powder of rose and gold, perfumed herself and combed and brushed herself with gold utensils beautifully decorated. When she was done, the Ringmaster bowed to her with many flourishes, and asked her to come to his side. Chacha obeyed and the Ringmaster made everything disappear within white smoke. The public, especially girls, thought it was just darling. The Ringleader smiled widely, turning towards his rapt viewers. Jared had been remaining hypnotised to the side, sleepy and unaware of his surroundings. Now it was his turn.
"Now what animal should this young man become?" asked them the Ringleader mischievously.
