The suggestions shot out but one stroke the Ringmaster as quite promising. Someone shouted "Make them do kid stuff!" and he thought it was a quite good idea. With that start, the two youngsters could then be changed into something else while keeping the public interested. An appetiser before the main course.
"Very well, very well," he boomed jovially. "I've heard your ideas and that of making them act like children strikes me as interesting and challenging."
Everyone applauded, even if their ideas hadn't been chosen. Yes, it did look interesting and funny to watch. He simply told Jared:
"You are a baby. A sweet little baby."
At once, Jared was sitting on the floor, rocking back and forth, gurgling with a smile and babbling in baby talk wile clapping his hands. This was answered by claps and cheers from the audience. The Ringmaster then turned to Tayla.
"As for you, you are six. A sweet little girl who loves to play with cute toys."
Tayla turned around, calling for her mommy. The Ringmaster calmed her down by saying her mother would be here soon and that waiting for her, she could play and keep all the toys in this box. With a puff of smoke, he made an entire box of dolls and teddy bears appear. Tayla laughed and proceeded to organize a tea party with all, commenting everything and telling elatedly the conversations between the toys. As for Jared, the Ringleader handed him a bottle of milk and a rattle, which he respectively drank to the last drop, before burping loudly to the great amusement of the audience, and that he used extensively and great joy, making the whole tent resonate with the beads inside the rattle. The members of the public clapped, impressed.
"Now that we have two sweet children, what is next?" smiled the Ringleader. "Should they go back to their adulthood or should we make the changes more...permanent? Or dare I say it? More...strange and interesting?
