Still in shock, Brandon couldn't believe the incredible turn of events the last few minutes had brought.
Brandon’s mind still was racing. He hadn't yet fully processed everything and admittedly felt bad for what he had done to Adam.
Adam stood there staring at you with a weird look on his face. His face was still that of a steely 30-something man, but his muscles are much smaller as if he hadn't seen a gym since middle school and he now stood nearly a foot and a half shorter in shorts that hung on him like pants
Meanwhile, all of his hard earned muscles were now on Brandon’s body which was seeing things from an entirely new perspective with its new 6'5 frame.
Brandon was both excited yet panicked waiting for Adam to open his mouth and react. Surely he wasn't going to be happy with Brandon and he would understand completely. With muscles this big, Adam surely worked super hard to look this good and now Brandon had stolen them all away from him, plus made him nearly two feet taller in the process.
Brandon raised his now massive arm and began massaging the tree trunk that was his neck nervously waiting for Adam's shock to wear off or for his friend to react to him stealing his dads muscles.
"So, uh..." Brandon began before Adam cut him off midsentence.
"I'm sorry." Adam began, leaving Ryan and Brandon confused as to what in the world he could be about to say. After all, if anyone should be apologizing it should be Brandon to Adam for basically putting him through reverse puberty.
"I'm sorry, it's totally inappropriate of me to be staring at your body like that. It's just that I don't think I've ever seen you shirtless before and can't get over how much of a truly incredible specimen you are."
Was he playing with Brandon? Building him up before entering a fit of rage. Surely he's not happy about being a man with a kid's body. Adam is a nice guy, but not that nice.
"Uhm, doesn't anything seem unusual to you? Like shouldn't you be filled with rage right about now?" Ryan asked
"Why would you ask that? The only thing unusual is for your dad to be standing in your kitchen gawking at your friend’s incredible muscles."
Adam raised his muscle less arm in the air and bent it to a flex, showing off his bone thin arm.
"Look at me. I'm 30 and have the physique of a young boy in desperate need of protein."
Ryan and Brandon couldn't believe it, not only had the ring changed him but it had changed reality, leaving Adam none the wiser of what had just happened.
“Maybe I should switch things back now, Brandon whispered to Ryan. “Then again, I've always wondered what it would be like to be a grownup and I'm certainly grown up now. Maybe I'll just stay like this for a little while and have some fun. After all. Adam can't even remember what happened.”
As Ryan and Brandon looked into the kitchen they noticed Adam still had the face of an adult which looked so strange on his childlike body. He also still seemed to have the attributes of someone who had gone through puberty with stubble on his face, a thin layer of hair on his chest and a mature voice.
"Hmm, I wish I looked more mature than Adam."
Suddenly, the hair on Adam's face and chest seemed to retract into his body. Then suddenly his face began aging backwards from that of a steely man to a young man, then a teen and finally that of a boy.
Brandon meanwhile felt a tingling sensation on his chest and face which was brought on by the hair suddenly forming on both areas. Although he couldn't see his face transforming, he felt a tickling sensation. When it ended he ran his hand over his now sharp jawline, feeling the stubble that had formed.
"Well, did you too figure out what you want to watch?" Adam asked, his voice now several octaves higher, more childlike.
"Actually, why don’t you choose and we’ll be right back dad!" Ryan said as he pulled his now larger friend upstairs.
