When Jeff returns to his room, he finds his little sister, who is by the way the same height as Jeff, standing in his room, “Anna,” he asks in surprise, “what are you doing in my room?”
Seeing her big brother, the girl smiles, 'looks like I just found my kitty,' she thinks to herself, “oh, I was looking for a pen,” she then says.
Jeff tilts his head, “what do you want a pen for? Don't you have enough pens yourself?”
“I do,” Anna says, “but all my black ones are dried out or broken. I thought you might have one to lend me?”
Jeff shakes his head, “afraid not,” he says.
Anna lets out a sigh, “oh well, I guess I'll have to see if mom has a pen,” she says, “oh, I wanted to ask you a favor,” she then says.
Jeff raises an eyebrow, “besides asking for a pen?”
Annabelle nods, “I need a black cat to complete my costume,” she says, “so I wanted to ask if you'd be my cat.”
Jeff is taken aback by this, he then lets out a snort and chuckles, “first, I am to big to be a Witch's cat, second, I am not cat-like enough and third there is no where in the world that sells full body animal costumes.”
Annabelle grins, “oh, that won't be a problem,” she says, as she says this her eyes start to glow slightly in a bluish color, which Jeff does not seem to notice. “I know you would love to be my kitty,” the girl continues, her grin widening when she notices Jeff's eyes starting to glow in the same color, “right, Jeff?”
