Chronivac Version 4.0

Who needs consequences, anyway?

As he looks over this, he begins thinking. "Hmm... What if I just removed the consequences from peoples' actions?" He thought about it more. There would need to be some exceptions, regardless of what he did, but overall it seemed like an interesting concept. Like not having consequences behind failing in school, or for a more criminal example, robbing a bank without risk of going to jail.

He saw a lot of potential in this idea... "If something goes wrong, I could always turn it off, right?" With the Chronivac, he knew there wasn't anything stopping him. With this in mind, he decided to give it a try.

Jeff began typing up his changes, including that consequences that fit the criteria are ignored and nullified if it's a possibility. More directly he specified that something gained or lost as a result of someone's actions remains gained or lost, whether it's positive or negative. Though, as he continued, he came to another realization.

"Actually... If I just remove all consequences, that may even result in intentional consequences being skipped..." He internally debated on if he wanted to give this ability, allowing consequences to matter if chosen to or not

What does he choose?
