You couldn't prepare for the 'Prehistoric Wave,' as the remaining uncorrupted would come to call it in the few short days it took for the world to turn. The reports claimed that we would have months to prepare, survive and stop our transforming climate. This work of pure magic by a then unknown body, builders of the 'Chronivac Version 4.0,' called the Prehistoric Wave a punishment of some kind and then they vanished.
The waves speed then increased and eventually covered the world within a mere three days. All the worlds united attempts to save humanity, the fauna and flora of the modern Earth ended there. There were rumors that the wealthy had built rockets to escape in time, but You doubted that was true. The wave was probably too sudden, but it did make you wonder whatever happened to the International Space Station.
Day Three and the world ended, and you were alone. You couldn't say why but the wave left you completely unscathed, clothes and all, but did leave a strange tingling sensation as it passed over you. You watched the streets around you crack and warm into vast grassland and the city in the distance grow into a tall volcano. Lost for words you sprinted into a new and sudden forest for protection. Around you there were new smells, the calls of dinosaurs and the snaping of branches. Above you saw the shadows of two velociraptors fly by and you suddenly felt exposed. Looking round in a panic you saw a cave entrance and ducked into it.
Panting and out of breath, with a mind racing too quickly for you to manage you collapsed onto the cavern wall, leaving into it for strength.
"What now?" You say, the last human on Earth...
But before you can clam yourself...
