“We gotta get out of here!” Jake yelled, grabbing Kat’s wrist and pulling her towards the door as his mother screamed her shock and horror at the blood that covered her. Steve scrambled to try and help his wife, but found himself slipping on a slick of blood that had pooled up beneath the deer head.
The moment Jake had gotten Kat to the door, though, it slammed shut in their faces, and locked with a heavy thunk.
“This is your fault!” Jake yelled at her, barely audible over the horrific screaming. “You did this to your brother, and now he’s some kinda… horrible deer ghost… thing!”
“Don’t you dare blame this on me! Everything goes my way! It can’t be my fault!” Kat whined, panic starting to set in. This was her fault though, wasn’t it? The walls were dripping with blood. The screaming was intensifying. The deer head was shaking violently.
And the door was locked. Could they ever get out? Or was Kat’s karma going to destroy them all?
