"So, how does this weird magic work, anyways?" asked Diana. "I mean, I get that you had me bury amulets at specific locations all around town, but I'm not sure why it causes so many clubs' morphs to suddenly fail."
"Simple," Haylee said, taking a map out of her backpack. "You wanna know why our insignificant little town's so full of magic in the first place, Di? Ley lines!" She began pointing out specific red lines drawn across the map of the town. "See these red lines? Those show the paths of ley lines, the paths that the Earth's mystical energies flow through. It just so happens that three major ley line flow through out town, abd they intersect..." Haylee pointed at the spot on the map where all three ley lines met. "...at the exact spot our high school's built on! Brilliant, huh?"
"Where'd you get that map?" Diana asked as she gawked.
"I bought it from Demonic Cult Club," Haylee grinned wickedly. "You do NOT wanna know what I paid for it! Those cultists took note of the ley lines ages ago, and they've done half my research for me. I should probs get those demon-fuckers a gift basket or something once I'm done." She chuckled to herself over the thought.
"But how do those amulets you gave me to bury affect the ley lines?" asked Diana.
"It's a ritual," Haylee explained. "As you no doubt saw, each amulet had a specific rune engraved on it. If those runes are buried around the nexus of the ley lines in a very specific pattern, the magic pooling around the nexus will be weakened. Less and less of it will flow into students' bodies, making it harder for them to hold onto their changes. If you don't feed a goldfish, it dies. The same goes for the other clubs' morphs. Without a steady supply of magical energy to sustain them, those transformations all burn out sooner or later. So I deprived the magical changes of their 'food' source. Soon those freaks will all be just like me: fucking unchangeable!"
"You're starting to sound like those loony freaks from the Science Club," Diana teased. "So, you think those girls form the Futa Club'll find the amulets I buried and dig them up?"
"I really doubt it," answered Haylee. "First, they'd have to actually know about the amulets. Second, those things are buried all over town in a pattern that should be unguessable to anyone who doesn't have the diagram that High Magistra Delilah gave me along with the map. Trust me, my plan's ironclad. Your furry adversaries are stuck in human form for ever, and the 'futas' are never getting their dicks back. As for the mermaids, I hope those waterlogged bitches enjoy their tails while they last."
"I just wish you hadn't gone to the Demonic Cult Club for help," said Diana. "Those succubus wannabes give me the creeps. What the hell is a magistra, anyway?"
"A female magister," said Haylee. "It's some kind of priestly title the Demonic Cult Club uses. And I'd advise you to not question the people who made our revenge possible."
"Fine, fine," Diana sighed. "We should probably get ready for official cheer squad business, you know. New recruits'll probably be dropping by to audition."
"Right, Di," Haylee nodded, stuffing the ley line map back into her back pack. "The first new recruits of many, I hope."
