A grim atmosphere had settled over the Anthro Club. Daisy Mae Hutchinson and Terra Hopkins clutched ruefully at their diminished ears, weeping for their lost rabbit-girl bodies. An ex-janguar named Jeanette Coates stared hatefully at her plain, patternless skin, surrounded by piles of her her magnificent spotted coat of fur that had until an hour ago been growing from her body. Jeanette ex-wolf girlfriend Lupita Villalobos held her tight and showered her with comforting kisses.
"This sucks!" Aiesha Pryde the ex-lioness spat, tucking a stray dreadlock behind her mocha-colored ear.
"I know," Giselle Keen sighed, feeling the flat space where her muzzle used to be. "I can't believe Di helped Haylee Irons do this! We're friends from Genderswap Club!"
"Are you still friends with that bitch, Giselle?" Hailey asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I... I don't know, Hail," Giselle responded, shedding a tear as much for her damaged friendship with Diana as for her mutilated body. "I'll have to talk about it at the next GSC meeting. To hear her side of the story, y'know."
"You've already heard it," Hailey growled, seething with hatred for her ex. "She went back on her word that she was okay with an open relationship, she cheated, and she wanted revenge when I broke up with her... even if there'd be massive collateral damage."
"She's better than this," Giselle said sadly. "Maybe I can make her see reason."
"I doubt it while she's still friends with Haylee," Valeria said, shaking her head. "That puta intrigante has been a terrible influence on Diana since she joined the Cheer Squad. Maybe if they ever parted ways, I guess."
"Di was right about one thing," Aiesha sighed defeatedly. "The Anthro Club really is dead. Making ourselves suffer by staying here and brooding on what we used to be. We should really consider officially disbanding the club."
"No!" gasped Hailey. "Ruby and Lottie, my friends from Futa Club, are on the case! They'll get to the bottom of this! We'll all have our fur back before we know it!"
"There's no guarantee they'll learn anything useful," said Samantha Muskett, a former anthro skunk. "And even if they do, I doubt they'll be able actually foil Haylee Irons' plans. She always wins."
"Don't be so defeatist, Sam!" snapped her friend Scarlett Nuttall, a onetime squirrel anthro. "I don't plan on giving up even the slimmest chance to get my beautiful bushy tail back."
"Yeah," Daisy Mae nodded. "I'm going to be a cute bunny again, and nothing in the world is going to stop me!"
"Except Haylee Irons," Terra said bitterly.
"Enough bickering!" Fawn raised her voice, silencing the argument. "I'm president of this club, and I say we put this to a vote. The first option is disbanding the Anthro Club due to lack of anthros or anthro-creating magic. The second option is keeping the club operating as much as we can while we wait to see if Hailey Forrest's friends from the Futanari Club can fix us. Simple majority wins. Now, all in favor of dissolving the Anthro Club?"
Fawn waited to hear who would speak up.
