"And how exactly do we find out what's going on, Mel?" Amanda interjected. "I came here for help, so how are you and 'Chelle gonna do that?!" The ex-futa put her hands on her hips like a petulant child.
Michelle tried not to shoot Amanda a dirty look. Unlike Melanie, Amanda had been no help at all to Michelle with the de-merifying mers. The dickless Futa Club girl had just been kneeling in the sand and clutching the dildo that had once been her dick to her tits as she wept. On the other hand, Michelle could understand Amanda being traumatized by the loss of her most precious body part. She decided to let Melanie decide how to respond to the often undisciplined Amanda.
"I say we head back to the Futanari Club, Mandy," Michelle suggested to Amanda. "We need to see if this is happening in other clubs. Besides, 'Chelle left Pheebs to help out a new recruit and her friend in the dick storage room."
"Good thinking, Mel," Michelle nodded. "Let's go check on them"
"I'm coming with you girls!" Tiffany said, wobbling around on the sand as she got used to her new legs. "We'll get to the bottom of this awful shitstorm together."
"Please hurry, Tiff!" Guadalupe sobbed, staring at a pile of shiny red scales in her cupped hands. Once, those beautiful scales had been attached to her tail. Now they were the only sign that the latina girl had even been a mermaid. Once she had been something magical, and now she was ordinary again. The hispanic girl wept anew at the thought as she sat naked in the sand.
"I will, Lupe, I promise," Tiffany said resolutely.
The Asian girl, whose name was Lucy Tang, helped Guadalupe to her feet. "Better start practicing walking around on those new feet, Lupe," she laughed humorlessly, fighting back a fresh wave of tears. "That'll be our main mode of transportation for a while, I'm afraid."
"Thanks, Lucy," Guadalupe sighed. "Hopefully it won't be for long, but you're right." She almost fell over as she tried to take a step. "Shit! I am majorly out of practice!"
"But I thought mermaids could assume human form for an hour every day," said a confused Melanie.
"Yeah, but I hate doing it," said Guadalupe. "I loved my tail so much that I refused to ever use my legs. My parents bought me a wheelchair to use for getting to class."
"Don't be sad, Lupe," Tiffany said as she hastily searched for some kind of clothing to throw onto her nude body. "You'll have your tail back soon." Her voice didn't sound as certain as her words.
"Let's get moving, girls," Michelle said to Melanie, Amanda, and Tiffany. "Off to the dick storage room."
