Jeff was a little perplexed, he loved most of the sound of this package but wanted his life to fall into the story, not to be transported into an alternate universe where he was born on a spaceship, or Vampires have waged war on humanity and taken over the city... interesting as that might be...
It was at that moment a button flashed offering a module update, and upon clicking it, a "Fall into the story" option appeared describing exactly what he was looking for but in better detail than he could have explained it.
DURING THE DURATION YOU WILL NOT HAVE NORMAL ACCESS THE CHRONIVAC.
Your day to day life will remain normal and plot hooks will occur to offer you the adventures you seek, guiding the story you have chosen for the duration. Changes to reality will be as minimal as possible while still injecting your desired elements. Upon completion of the duration you and reality will remain in the modified state, but will regain the options to revert back to original reality, or modify the current reality.
Reverting reality back will come with special options depending on the options for the story you've chosen. For example, if during your adventure you became cursed to be a werewolf and opt to revert reality, options may offer to remove the curse completely, leave you as is, or convert the curse to a mundane variant where you will become a slightly stronger and more hairy version of yourself and have a night each month where you feel driven to be reckless however you will be fully human. You will of course have regained full access to the Chronivac's options and this is just to simplify the transition.
When using the fall into the story option, it is recommended you extend the duration out to allow time for all the things which get left out of movies and books.
Finally this option allows you to add many more themes, story lines, styles, and tropes to your narrative as well as fine tune characters and roles. You now have the option to build a slasher horror themed romantic comedy musical framed around a coming of age story, should you so desire. The possibilities go on but you may at any point randomize the nuances or become extremely detailed and switch the story focus from romantic comedy to action adventure halfway through the story. These story options are the only options available while this package is functioning, and once added, story arcs cannot be modified. Characters can be removed through the Chronivac interface or mundane methods, however, depending on your use of Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Divine themes only the use of the Chronivac will ensure permanent removal of a character from a story.
