"This is delicious" said Savannah "Did you bake it yourself?"
"I sure did" answered Hermione.
"Lydia is lucky to have a wife like you to take care of her."
Hermione walked back to the house, glowing.
"Yes" said Nancy "the trick to getting along with Hermione is to treat her like a stereotype 50s housewife. I think that was Hank's idea of the ideal woman, so after the Change she really had to be that to be a good woman in her own eyes."
"Well" said Savannah "She is a lot more pleasant to be around than Hank. And this is a pretty decent cake."
"And now" said Nancy "You were about to tell me something?"
"You know that magic is real, right?"
"Duh, Dad, you have breasts now, so its hard to deny that magic is real."
"Well, I knew it long before the Great Change, because the division of the government I work in is called Occult Operations. I work on all kinds of magical problems and challenges. It's specialized work. In any event, I'm now the sorceress supreme, which means I'm responsible for not just the US, but the entire cosmos."
"Uh, this is a lot to take in, Dad."
"It's a lot, yeah."
"Why are you telling me this?"
"Because unlike your sister, I think you have the talent. Would you like to learn how the world works, I mean really works?"
Working closely with her Dad/Mom was Nancy's dream in life. Her first instinct was to say yes, but there was something that held her back.
"I know you kept secrets from Mom. I don't want to keep secrets from Kendra."
