Nat and Rei smiled, today would be a day to forget about their troubles.
It seemed that all of the girls thoughts had been focused on the sociopath Ezekiel Kane. Between magic practice, school, and talks with others about the former hunter it was beginning to become overwhelming. This is what led to the pair taking a day for themselves, a chance to relax and maybe use some magic on their own. Pulling up to the front of the mall, the two girls waved goodbye to Nat's father as they went inside. "I'm surprised you didn't invite the others," Rei stated.
"Kind of wanted some alone time," Nat blushed. "I mean when was the last time it was just the two of us?" Rei shrugged, it had been awhile since it was just them. "So what do you feel like doing?"
Nat truely didn't have a plan, for the dhamphir teen she simply wanted some quality time with her girlfriend. Yes Christmas time was fast approaching and gifts would need to be purchased but, they had plenty of time. "Lets just walk around," she said. "Maybe grab something to eat. If we see something we like just buy it."
"Sounds like a plan," Rei said happily. "I know this year I can buy you something really nice with all our babysitting money."
"Probably should wait until I'm not around Rei," Nat chuckled. "But I will give you some ideas."
Grabbing some pretzels and a couple of sodas, the two teens now made their way through the mall. Nat always liked going her during the holiday season, the mall going to great lengths to get into the spirit. A contented smile plastering itself on the girls face as she gazed at the holiday lighting and Christmas displays. As the pair made their way further inside they could see a 20 foot Christmas tree adorned with lights and surrounded by gifts. "Its so pretty," she gushed.
"Hey Nat look over there!"
Nat now looked to where Rei was pointing, a small chuckle escaping her lips as she noticed the mall Santa. Children were already lining up excitedly to see Santa, the teens noting parents happily waving to their children as pictures were taken. "Oh man remember those days?"
"Yeah I remember," Rei stated. "Your mom always made it a point of taking us to see Santa. Remember how much my parents always gushed at over our pictures?"
"They loved those pictures,"Nat stated. "You're parents were always so busy and my mom always jumped at the opportunity to take us."
"Then she would take us to a movie afterwards," Rei sighed. "I loved that tradition. Really miss those days, sometimes I kinda wish we could do it again." Rei paused, her eyes going wide as she mischievous smile spread across her face. "I have a crazy idea!"
"What," Nat asked.
Rei smirked, holding up her ring as she gazed at Nat. "What if we relive those days just for a little bit?"
"Rei are you crazy," Nat hissed. "Why would you want to become a little kid? Besides, wouldn't somebody notice two little girls standing in a line by themselves?"
"It'll only be for like 10 minutes tops," Rei pleaded. "We become kids, get our pictures taken with Santa, and then grow up again. Come on Nat It'll be fun." Nat 🙍♀️ unsure of her girlfriends proposal. Too many things could go wrong, what if someone asked where their parents were? Sighing she now looked at Rei, seeing the Asian teen give her a puppy dog pout. "Ugh I can't believe I'm agreeing to this," she grumbled. "Fine but let's change somewhere private." Rei squealed in delight, taking her girlfriends hand as they quickly made their way towards a nearby bathroom.
Entering the bathroom, the pair made sure it was unoccupied before entering a far stall. "Okay," Rei said quickly. "Heres the plan. We change, sprint back in line, take a picture, and change back."
"Okay then what," Nat asked.
"Then we buy the picture of course," Rei stated. "Think of it as an early Christmas gift for me." Nat chuckled, she had considered buying Rei a really nice jacket but if she could get this and call it a gift it would be much cheaper. Taking a breath, she nodded as Rei now cast her spell.
Nat had never felt the magic of the ring before so she was surprised as an odd feeling washed over her. It felt like a cold breeze, her skin tingling as the spell went into effect. Gazing at herself, she gasped as she noticed her breasts begin to contract. "Rei?"
Nat glanced up at her friend, her eyes going wide at Reis transformation. The Asian teen looked around 13 and was speeding towards 12. Nat noticing her friends face rounding, her breasts shrinking as her slight curves began to melt away. "Oh wow Nattie," Rei exclaimed in a slightly higher voice. "Your freckles came back with a vengeance. You look around 12 now."
"So do you," Natv eplied, clearing her throat as it rose an octave. The two girls gasping as they began tobrelive a growth spurt in reverse. "And we're shrinking!"
Rei nodded, gazing down at her chest before frowning. The girls modest breasts were quickly evaporating, going from small mounds to puffy nippers to flat in almost no time. "Aw man my boots are gone," she groaned.
"I don't know what you were expecting," Nat replied as the girls became 10. "You're were the one that wanted us to be kids." SubconsciouslyNat now crossed her arms over her flat chest, the auburn haired girl blushing slightly in embarrassment. Nat had always been a bit self conscious about her bust and finding it erased now made her even more self conscious. Looking at the stall, she gazed in wonder as the walls seemed to rise above them as they grew smaller.
"Wow everything is so much bigger," the now 8 year old dhamphir said in wonder. "I don't remember everything being this big when we were kids!"
"Probably because we didn't think like that when we were little," Rei stated as the girls settled in on 7. Gazing at themselves Rei nodded in approvement at their finished transformation. "Okay good I got our clothes to shrink with us."
"Wait we could have shrank out of our clothes?!"
"It was a possibility Nat," Rei said. "I mean I've done the spell a few times but theirs always that chance that our old clothes won't change with us." Nat furrowed her brow, her childish features making her look like a pouty child instead of an annoyed teenager.
"Okay one last thing," Rei said happily as she now cast another spell.
Nat gasped, watching as her clothing began to ripple. At first concerned that Rei was making a mistake, she gaped as the girls clothing morphed around them.
Their sneakers became dressy Mary Janes, their socks and jeans thinning to become a pair of white stocking as their shirts transformed into an adorable Christmas dress. In only seconds the pair of 7 year olds found themselves in holiday dresses.
Rei smiled, Nat noting the girls baby teeth as she took her friend by the hand. "Cmon Nat," she exclaimed. "Santa's waiting!" Nat giggled, the pair of girls now sprinting for the line to get their pictures taken with Santa Claus.
