Vincent looked up from his laptop as William pushed open the door from the restroom. He thought he could see it in his face as the door opened. The panic, the fear, the lack of control. But as William crossed the threshold, all of that changed as the preset reality modification went into effect.
10:19 William walked, or strutted back to his desk. He knew he looked good and he knew others liked to watch. He was the office eye candy as well as a great salesman. Everybody either wanted to be him or wanted to be with him.
William got back to his desk, noting the picture of him on the desktop. His double bicep pose on the beach from his last trip. His taunt muscles and bright speedo drawing attention to all the goods. "Damn I look good. " he thought to himself as he eased into his chair.
Vincent looked at him, his grin broadening as William started to get back into his work rhythm.
William didn't know if Vincent was in the group of people who wanted to be with him or wanted to be him but he couldn't stand the fucker. He ignored his looks and got started through his contacts looking for the next item on his agenda.
Vincent kept typing and kept grinning.
