Everyone Arrives to Finn's Party

added by JLTF 9 months ago O

Isaac was surprised that he was the last to arrive. He hadn't been expecting to see so many vehicles in the driveway. But then again, he also didn't expect for Adrian, Brad or Paul to be invited either. A bit of a pit formed in his stomach as he sat out in his car in the front of the neighbor's house. Technically, Finn hadn't seen him yet so he could leave. But then he also didn't want to leave Finn alone either. Those three were all more of Jeff's friend's than Finn's.

His phone buzzed and Isaac was surprised it was from Finn. 'C'mon man. I see you out there -.-' the text message read. He looked up to see a giant tiger man wave to him through the window. Jeff's silhouette was impossible not to know as his huge muscles were almost cartoonish in size. Another text quickly followed. 'It's fine. Everyone's just going to have a fun time tonight. Come inside.'

Even with the assurance, Isaac felt the pit in his stomach stay. That didn't mean he didn't trudge up to the front door to be greeted by a well buzzed Finn with a huge smile plastered on his face as he swayed gently in the doorway. The small fox leapt into Isaac, wrapping his arms as tightly around him as he possibly could. "I'm so glad you could make it!" his voice control had vanished as the drinks continued to pour in him.

Isaac couldn't help but feel a smile fill his face as Finn nuzzled his long nose into his chest. Even if Finn was one of the few people actually smaller than him, it made his body warm with an odd feeling of strength. Something he rarely, if ever, was able to feel. "No problem," Isaac said, enjoying the hug longer than a sober person should have. He looked up to see Jeff coming over, phone in hand. "Isn't that Finn's?"

"It is," Jeff laughed. There was alcohol on his breath, but he looked like he was still in complete control of his faculties. "He lost phone privileges tonight. I'll be the one controlling this." He waved it in Finn's face, almost bragging. But then there was almost a scolding tone as well.

Finn returned it with a stink eye and stuck out his tongue. "I just wanted to make sure everyone had fun," Finn pouted. His left ear flicked in frustration as he stomped his foot. Jeff rolled his eyes with a 'uh-huh' and went to texting something. "Hmph! Whatever." Finn huffed. Then turned his attention back to Isaac. "At least you made it!" He went in for another hug but then changed it to lead him into the house. He grabbed a beer and popped it open. Then handed it to Isaac.

"I don't--"

"Just try it," Finn said. "Plllllleeeeeease..."

Isaac caved to the peer pressure. He brought the beer up to his lips and took a sip. Normally they were so bitter and just tasted like shitty water, but this one was sweet. Really sweet. Almost like a naturally sweetened soda. He felt himself absentmindedly tipping it back to drink more of it. There were so many flavors working together that he couldn't quite figure out which one he liked most. "Woah!" he took a full drink.

"It's good! Right?" Finn sounded like he was bragging. "I did that."

"Huh?" Isaac looked at him a bit confused. Maybe it was just the warm bubbly feeling running through his body or the fact that Finn was so drunk, but it felt like the little fox was being serious. He shook it off. "So, what are we going to do tonight?"

"Probably just chill and hang out," Finn said. "Probably play some games."

"Furry Fun?" Isaac asked.

"With seven people!? Do you know long that'd take to complete?! Or how complicated that'll get? It's hard enough to focus on just four people. You have to track everyone's moves and then each player has to have different stuff happen to 'em and there are just so many rules and stuff... And more stuff... And... More..." Finn let out a burp and leaned more into Isaac's arm. "Nah man. That's too complicated. I just wanna play some chill games with my friends."

Isaac gently took advantage of Finn's unbridled closeness by petting his bright orange fur. It was probably bad, but he always loved sneaking little pets whenever he could. The softness of the fur always brought a bit of a warm feeling through him. But with Finn leaning so hard on him, he couldn't help but even give the fox a scratch behind the ear. He watched as the fluffy red tail wagged excited back and forth at the sensation. "And I guess not everyone here's a furry either..."

"Yet," Finn said. Even through the tired drunken haze, he'd seemed to gain another second wind. A bright warm but devious smile grew out of the corners of his mouth.

The little fox broke the hug laughing and ran off to another room. "Yet?" Isaac said to the empty space. "What do you mean yet?"
