You pick up the phone, and check the collar ID, to find that your friend Jim who was calling you. Jim Kaiser was your best friend, and Co-worker from the place you go to, and was the one who introduced you to Rose. While you had no intention to meet with Rose, you decided to talk to Jim about the trip.
"Hey Cooper," Jim's voice came from your phone. "How was your weekend of Christmas?" "Lousy," You answer. "Why, did you break one of your limbs?" Jim asks. "If you want, I can fill in at your job, while you recover, and-" "I'm fine, Jim," You explain. "It's just that, I'm down, because this was suppose to be a couples trip, and out of all the times Rose would want to go out with me, she didn't come with me when I booked us reservations at the ski resort. This trip for me was a disaster."
"Jeez, sorry to hear about that," Jim comments. "Well let's hope she makes up for what she did, and you can go out to dinner again." "I don't know," You explain. "To me I think she's either cheating on me, so I should just break up with her the next time I see her." "Well it's up to you buddy," Jim says. "Anyway, I have to go drive my sister to the dentist. I'll call back, once you decide to feel better from that broken heart." "Wait before you go, did you get me this present I found on my coffee table?" You ask. "No, I got you a new cellphone case," Jim answers. "It's in your mailbox, so you shouldn't miss it." Then, Jim hung up, but you got another call.
