Entering the restaurant, the quartet made their way to a booth. While the others talked and perused the menu, Nat found herself gazing at her appearance in awe.
To say she was astounded would have been an understatement for the dhamphir. Nat had been self conscious about her appearance, the teen thought her breasts were too small, that she was too skinny, and that she had too many freckles. Now though, having gone from 15 to 30, she loved what she saw.
Nats breasts had increased from small B cups to full and firm D's, her body becoming curvy with a tone mid section. Gazing at her face in her hand mirror, Nat loved her flawless ivory skin and adult face that was framed by her thick, long auburn locks.
"Hey Nat you still with us?"
Nat flinched, startled by Rei's question. Blushing the now adult dhamphir offered a meek apology as Ann and Jackie stifled a laugh. "No need to apologize Nat," Ann grinned. "I understand completely."
"You do," Nat asked, to which Ann nodded. "My angel thinks she was a bit awkward looking as a teen," Jackie smirked. "She has the same reaction you have whenever she goes back and forth in age."
"Well its true," Ann countered. "I was way too skinny, had little to no curve to speak of, and had two very pretty sisters living under the same roof. Not exactly a recipe for self esteem, especially when you're a bit of an introvert."
"And I never understood why," Jackie added. "I mean I've seen you from every age between 1 and 46. You were really cute as a teen."
"Says you," Ann smirked. "Besides you're my girlfriend, you're supposed to say that. All I'm saying is that if I suddenly went from an awkward teen to an adult overnight I'd probably keep checking myself out in the mirror too."
"So how long have you two been together," Rei asked.
"Freshman year," Jackie stated. "Honestly it started out as a friendship. Ann and her sister accidentally got turned into teenagers by Gloria's ring. Me and her started talking and well, we just clicked."
"I'm sorry accidentally turned into a teenager?"
"Yeah those rings sometimes have a mind of their own," Ann laughed. "But it does keep things interesting. Even if it means I seem to get dragged into all sorts of adventures."
"You were involved in that mess with the vampires," Nat asked. Ann nodded, rubbing her chin as she now thought of everything she and Jackie had been involved in. "Yeah I've been around for pretty much everything," she said. "Lets see, their was the vampires, that timeline conquer Villar that merged a bunch of different worlds, a government conspiracy, time travel, Morgan Lefay..."
"Time travel? Worlds merging! Morgan Lefay?!"
"Yeah things have been pretty interesting over the last few years," Jackie laughed. "And my angel here has been there through all of it."
"Amazing," Rei said in awe. "And all without magic."
"Well," Ann replied sheepishly. "I wasn't completely helpless." Nat and Rei now cast the business woman a curious look before Jackie spoke. "Ann has a suit."
"A suit?"
"More like armor," Ann stated quietly. "Kind of a battle armor my company designed. There's only three of them in existence and thankfully no one at the company remembers them save myself and a couple of my friends."
"But enough about us," Jackie stated. "Why don't you tell us about yourselves?"
"Well," Nat shrugged. "We're Sophomores at West. We bought the ring last spring and lately we've been worried about some rogue demon hunter."
"Demon hunter," Jackie asked. "You mean like Caleb?"
"You know the Morelands," Rei asked. Jackie nodded, explaining how she knew Caleb Moreland and the Moreland family. "Yeah this guy is nothing like them," Rei said. "Hes a complete nut job. We kinda needed some downtime to relax. That's why we decided to do this." Rei now shiwd off the pictures she and Nat had taken of their trip to Santa. Nat blushing as both Ann and Jackie fawned over the childish photo.
"Oh my god that is so adorable," Jackie exclaimed. "Look at you two, you were so cute!" Jackie now paused, an impish smirk crossing her face as she now glanced at Ann. "Uh oh whats that look Jackie?"
"We should totally get a picture with Santa," Jackie smiled.
"What why," Ann exclaimed.
"Aw cmon Ann," Jackie moaned. "I mean we have some pictures of the two of us at different ages but nothing like this. Cmon, wouldn't it be adorable having the two of us sitting with Santa?"
"I don't know," Ann replied. "I wasn't trying to be a kid today. Besides, of we're kids who's watching us?" Jackie now motioned towards Nat and Rei, Ann sighing in annoyance.
"Oh cmon Ann," Jackie pleaded. "What do you say? Want to have a little bit of fun?"
