"In a minute," Thomas said. "Let's sit and chat. It's not like much happens here."
"Sure," Roy said as he opened up his computer again. Then started typing. There was an odd smile as he did so. He just kept looking up over his screen and then back down at it. Something about it made Thomas just feel so small. Almost like he was actively shrinking in front of the other man. Though, it wasn't a feeling he wasn't used to. At 5'4" and 110 pounds he wasn't much of a threat to anyone. Luckily, they were in such a sleepy town that none of that mattered. He could go weeks without having to confront anyone over anything.
Thomas sipped his coffee. A hint of jealousy washed over him as he stared at the 6'6" stud across from him. Roy must have been an absolute monster on whatever field he was on as he looked to have the body of an Olympian. Every muscle on his body bulged with power and there was even a vein running down his bicep. He looked squished in the booth that they were sitting in as his wide shoulders filled the seat and his heavy chest and thick back made sure there was no room between him and the table.
"--do?"
"Huh?" Thomas stupidity uttered. He didn't realize he was staring. "Sorry. I zoned out for a second."
"It's alright. I know I have that effect on people," Roy smiled. There wasn't a hint of modesty in that joke. But at the same time Thomas couldn't deny as he stared at the picturesque perfection of the man he was sitting across from. Roy's face exuded a natural rugged handsomeness that every man dreamed of having. His strong jawline was perfect along with his steely blue eyes that would draw anyone in.
Thomas blushed at the insinuation. Not that Roy was wrong, only that he'd been called out for it. Even now, he couldn't stop running his eyes along the impressive form of a man in front of him. His mouth went dry. And then there was this strange tingle running along his asshole that he couldn't quite understand. He scratched it absentmindedly.
"HEY! STOP HIM!" the barista shouted.
It took Thomas a second to snap out of his daydream, but that was more than enough time for Roy to jump into action. The man easily overpowered the robber and sent him to the ground without any effort at all. The tip jar that he'd had spilled out on the floor as Roy grabbed the robber's hands and held them behind his back. Without any effort at all, Roy was able to keep him pinned. Thomas felt himself staring. An unidentified emotion ran through him as he watched.
"Handcuffs?" Roy held out his hand while his other hand held the robber's behind his back. "Handcuffs?" he repeated, snapping Thomas out of his second trance for the day. Thomas handed him the cuffs and watched as he cuffed the guy. "Thanks," Roy said as he got up off the other man. He looked to be about the same age as Roy. "Scott here won't be stealing any more tips for a while now."
"You two know each other?" Thomas asked.
"Course I do," Roy smiled. "We go to the same college. And just like how I know that you gave me a ticket last month."
Thomas took a second to really think about it. "Did I?" he scanned his brain for anyone that he might have ticketed that would have looked close to the behemoth he was standing next to now. "Sorry..."
"No hard feelings," Roy lied. "You'll make it up to me."
