Jeff Feels Weird

added by Zoran 11 months ago I S Mental Vehicle

Jeff starts to panic, 'what are they doing,' he asks himself as he feels something alien start to seep into his mind, seeming to push his own mind further and further back. Jeff feels as if a second soul or mind is being planted into him, splitting his mind in two: A car-mind and a human-mind, the car-mind being the dominant one. The teen-turned-Jeep feels his thoughts become simple and less “smart”, 'need... stop... them,' he thinks to himself, 'don't... want to... l-l-l-l-l-loose my-myself!'

Jeff tries to turn on his radio to call out to the group of teens, but for some reason he is unable to control his electronics. Unaware to Jeff, while his mind is attached to Tyler's Tablet, he is unable to access his system.

Unaware that he messing with the mind of a human being, Tyler continues to type away on his tablet. “This is so weird,” he says, “there is so many data, some of which look human-like. There is even a program called the “Chronivac” on here.”

“Hmm...,” Rob says, playing absentmindedly with the keys in his pocket, unaware that he is playing with a guy's balls, Jeff mentally moans, feeling even weaker, “sounds like some kind of malware. You should get rid of it,” the boy says.

“Yeah,” Tyler says, “I need to get rid of a few useless data to make room for the upgrades anyway.”

'Nooooo... if... they... do that,' Jeff thinks in panic, 'wh-wh-what... will happen... w-with m...,' his train of thought is cut off as the download ends and Jeff is sent into sleep-mode.

“Finally,” Tyler says, “took longer than I thought. Now, I need to get this done in a hurry, we are running out of time!”

Tyler first deletes the Chronivac from the “car's” system, unaware that he disconnected the link between Jeff and HIS Chronivac and the Chronivac-App on Greg's phone. Then the teen deletes the “car's” date of birth and place of birth, replacing it with the date the car had been manufactured and where it has been manufactured. Tyler assumes that Greg's “Jeep” is the newest model he types in the year 2022, Jeff is a Jeep Wrangler 4xe, which is a Plug-in-Hybrid, Jeff is able to either drive with gas or electric. Tyler then replaces the “place of birth” with the “place of manufacture” which is Toledo in Ohio. After “fixing” these errors, Tyler checks the computer's storage space, the boy smiles, “looks like the deletion of the malware made enough room for the upgrades,” with that Tyler starts the upload.

After an hour, the upgrades have all been installed and uploaded into the “car's” system, “now, time to reboot the computer and get the heck out of here,” Tyler says.

When his system rebooted, Jeff feels weird, 'I... I feel weird,' he thinks to himself, 'I... still know who I am... b-but something feels off... I just can't figure out what that is,' before he is able to think any further, he feels his system been shut down and he blacks out.

After locking the car, Rob hands Tyler the keys, which Tyler lies back on the workbench, “our work here is done,” he says, “let's get out of here. I hope Greg will love the surprise,” with that the group tip-toes out of the garage and hurries off.
