Even though his alarm was set for 8 AM, Danny had slept through it by over an hour. Having woken up at 9:10 AM, Danny realized his mistake.
"Fuck me, I overslept," Danny groaned, oblivious of the difference in his voice, "Hadn't done that since middle school."
With his hands on his face, Danny noticed a lack of facial hair, save for a thin layer above his lip. He remembered how he felt when he noticed the faint hint of a moustache on his face, and now that was all he had on his face.
Danny jumped out of his bed, with his boxers sliding to the ground as his waist could not hold them up alone. He had to hold those boxers up as his shirt was barely enough to keep him covered. As soon as his face met the bathroom mirror, Danny froze in shock and awe, staring at the eighth grade boy in the reflection.
His arms had thinned considerably, remembering that he did not start working out until freshman year. Missing from his torso were the treasure trail and the v-shape on his chest that he was proud of, and a few stray curls were all that remained underneath his arms.
He remembered measuring himself the previous night, judging by the mark he had left behind on the wall and his previous height of 6 feet. Though he was able to touch the mark with his hand, he was amazed that he became shorter. As it turns out, his height became 5 feet and 3 inches, a far cry from before. Similarly, his weight was less than stellar, and the 110 on the scale brought his change to reality.
A laugh escaped from his mouth, his voice slightly higher. He remembered the embarassing voice cracks over a span of two years, and he predicted that his voice could crack at any minute. Having lost his last baby tooth at 12, Danny's grin revealed how badly he needed braces. He had them removed a few months ago, but one look at his overbite and misaligned teeth indicates that Danny may need them again.
"I....I...." Danny fumbled as it was setting in how real his changes were, "...three years. That thing took three years off of me."
His attention then turned to his privates, which had been reduced in length and girth. His testicles had risen slightly, and the only hairs present are the few strands around the base. The younger teen retreated to his bedroom, eager to put his smaller member to the test.
It was through experience that he was able to get it erect, but he finished much quicker than before. Still, Danny felt the thrill of having that experience for the first time once again. He laid on his bed, his shrunken privates exposed and becoming flaccid again.
"13. I'm 13. I'm really 13 years old again." A smile was visible on his face. The device, set to Mode 2, had succeeded in taking Danny from one milestone birthday to a previous one; the one where he would be leaving childhood behind and become a teenager.
Observing the warm weather outside, the last thing Danny wanted to do was remain cooped up inside the house. Wearing the smallest clothes he could find, with the drawstring of his shorts tied up as tight as possible, Danny ran straight to his garage. He remembered to take his smartphone with him, as well as his credit card, which he might have become irresponsible enough to max it out again.
Turning 16 meant that Danny would be allowed to use his dad's car. However, the newly minted 13-year-old was unable to drive, so Danny dusted out his old bike. With his helmet on, Danny pedaled to his destination.
