Generally, 95% of students in a common middle school classroom has already manifested their superpower in the last three years of their life. And usually, a classroom doesn't have a varied set of powers. Say, in the advisory class of Ms. Malek, most of her students have elemental powers. But in my class, they say it has the most varied superpowers this campus has ever seen. Being the only powerless guy in class, gave me enough time to appreciate their powers. I even made a detailed list of their powers, which I keep secret for obvious reasons. I'm already a target of bullies, and I do not want to make that worse by outing myself as a stalking freak.
Of my classmates, the most interesting power, in my opinion, would be Brock's regenerative superpower. Regeneration is one of the most common powers out there, along with elemental powers and super strength. But his regenerative powers are out of this world. Cut one part of him and he'd regenerate it in seconds. Others usually take hours to regenerate a whole arm. Cut half off his body? He'll be standing by the end of a minute. But what happens to the other half, you may ask? It'll regenerate too! Although, only one could be alive. The other is just a lifeless husk that looks like Brock. The other cool thing about his power is that he could jump consciousness to his other husks. He often uses it to transfer consciousness to a husk he left back at his home, so he could sleep while his lifeless husk is out listening to Mr. Hank's boring lecture about the history of superpowers. The lifeless husk expires to dust after a few hours, or he could just touch them and they're gone.
Then there is Kyle, and his ability to jump inside a literary media. We had a field trip to the museum once. There, I saw him having a conversation with the replica of the Mona Lisa. There was also a toy-craze that swept over the school. Didn't partake in it but they called it "fidget spinners". Kyle didn't have one of his own, so he searched for the most expensive fidget spinner on the Internet, and plucked it out of his cellphone. Although, the things he plucks out don't last long. They disintegrate into digital dust after an hour in the real world. And he can't bring pull-out sapient organisms.
Not the last on my list, but Daniel is the most dangerous of the bunch. When he had his epiphany, he was out of days. Then government agents came in and interviewed his parents. I learned from the grapevine that his power is stopping time. About a minute or two, perhaps more. Daniel is quite secretive about his power. Can't blame him though. His power can destabilize governments, kill people without them even knowing that they are dead, or many other ones can do in a timeless world. It's a good thing we have anti-power fields, an area where people can't use their powers. It's good to know that he can't use it to cheat, to say the least.
