They are running after me!
I don't know who they are, but I think I have an idea why they do this. It all began when that crazed(or what his really?) man ran into me and pleaded me to take that "fragment of the change" or something like this. The fragment in question was simply some kind of piece of gold from some koind of jewel. The man did'nt say much else as he was gunned down by some hitmen or I don't know what, but what I know was that I would be the next if I did'nt left. So, with my pointy little ears, I ran as fats as I could to my house knowing that I did'nt have much time left to escape those killers. And I also took that time to study the famous so-called "fragment of the change". I'm not able to work magic, but since I'm an elf I'm no stranger to the magic that flow throught the world. And when I studied that fragment, I was almost blinded by it’s magical aura! No need to explain why those killers are after it. But the question is, for wich reason does they want to uses it’s powers and, what are those powers? I may able to detect magic in something, but I’m not able to guess the ablities of magicals items. Is it a weapon? Is it enchanted by protective magic that may protect a whole region? I had absolutly no idea. But I was interupted in my study because some of the menthat were after that fragment broke into my house. No need to say again that I had to flee for my life. I even took a bullet. Why Jon could’nt have been there. I know that this snake man that is my friend could have took care of them. I was maybe a changed too, but I was only an elf. Simply an longer lived and smaller human with pointy ears.
And here I am now, in some kind of dirty hotel with assassins on my trail, some kind of magical artifact in my hand and I does’nt even know what is it’s use. Then it is at that moment that I heard sound coming from the hallway…
