"...Maybe a Golem? Its not like anyone really pays attention to Labour Golems... and i could put the Golem's face on the Vase."
Serad nodded to himself, stuffed the face in his pocket, and walked out of the room.
Serad arrived in the room where the unused Labour Golems were stored a short while later.
He walked through the room, until he found a Golem standing in a corner, a bit out of sight.
It didn't take Serad too long to take it's face off, though he did have more trouble with it than with the Vase.
He pulled Beth's face out of his pocket and, after making sure that they were roughly the same size, shoved the Golem's face in his other pocket and took out a small, brown glas bottle and a brush.
The bottle was filled with an alchemical paste, meant to fuse certain materials like stone together, and Serad was hoping that it would work on whatever material it was that Beth's face was made of.
He brushed a generous amount of the paste onto the place where the Golem's face used to be, before attaching Beth's face,
making sure that it sat straight.
As Serad held the face in place, he noticed that it seemed to be darkening.
He let go to take a closer look, discovering that the face was slowly taking on the same shade of grey as the Golem,
with even the texture changing and becoming more grainy, until the face was indistinguishable from stone.
"Well... i guess it won't stand out now? Yeah, this is probably a good thing. Probably."
Serad looked at the Golem for a while more, but felt like something was still off.
He pulled out the Golem's old face again, comparing it with the new one, and quickly noticed the difference.
"Oh, right! It has this rune looking thing on it's forehead. That's an easy fix."
Serad pulled out the chisel he had used to remove the face, setting it against Beth's forehead, and started carving in the rune,
occasionally checking the Golem's face to make sure it looked right.
"Now it looks right! The expression is still a bit... different, but anyone that sees it would probably just think its a joke from the maker."
He shrugged. "Probably won't be seen before i come back to get it anyway."
Serad took one last look at the face to make sure nothing looked off, before nodding and walking away.
Now he just had to attach the Golem's face to the Vase, and no one would connect it to the Queen.
