After putting both outfits into cloth shopping bag and out the “Door” they went. There wasn’t a door per say but a sort of pop-up tent booth, but they walked back into the now growing mass of humanity within the convention hall.
“I am so happy that you picked one.” Said Susan as she hung onto his arm as the two of them headed back toward the ground floor.
They weren’t going to leave after visiting only one booth and buying a set of outfits, Susan wanted to pick out at least two more for herself and with luck convince Tim to get another set for himself. However they did have a reservation at the sports bar which was attached to the ground floor of the building. Since the convention center doubled as a sporting area a lot of the ground floor was actually restaurants which had entrees leading both within and outside the convention center.
Tim gave his last name as the server standing behind a podium who nodded her head and lead them to a table which sitting out on a closed porch.
“Ah…that sun feels good.” Said Susan as the hot rays of the sun baked down on them.
It did feel strangely nice to Tim as he closed his eyes and enjoyed that warmth before sitting down under the shaded umbrella of their table.
“Mind if I drop the umbrella?” inquired Susan
“Not at all.” Said Tim as she closed the umbrella letting that warm sun bake them again.
With that both began to look over the menu before the server came up.
“What can I get you?” inquired the server
“I’ll take one of your Double cheeseburger with a side of fries.” Said Tim
“And how would you like that.” Said the server clearly going through the motions.
“Rare.” Answered Tim which surprised him, he didn’t like rare meat but for some reason the idea of bloody warm meat sounded so good to him.
“I’ll take one of your whole cod.” Added Susan which surprised Tim, Susan was a vegetarian which is why he expected her to get either a salad or something with impossible meat instead of real meat.
“Alright that will be right out.” Said the server
“I don’t know why but fish sounds so good right now.” Answered Susan as the two of them began to talk unaware that their choices where already beginning to be affected by the furry virus. The warmth of the sun, the need for raw flesh and meat and soon both began to go through more changes.
Both began to smell everything, they could smell the perfume of the women four tables away and they began to see people outlined not only in their normal form but with waves of heat which their bodies gave off.
“What is happening?” inquired Susan
“I don’t know.” Answered Tim as the server put down the food.
“Here you are let me know if you need anything more.” Stated the server as she went off.
As she did Susan’s eyes widened as she eyed the large fish before her, that is when Tim noticed her eyes where now slitted unaware that his eyes where the same. Then she opened her mouth far wider than what should have been possible and showed off her teeth had changed into rows of sharp pointed teeth, not fangs per say but rows of sharp teeth.
That should have freaked Tim out, but he didn’t even really process it as he bit into his own burger, he did so with small sharp teeth smaller than his girlfriend’s in truth but coming down from the roof of his mouth was a pair of long fangs which bit into the flesh with joy.
