"Hello everyone, and welcome to a new episode of Animalia Ambassadoria." said Miles, "This is going to be our last episode of 2022, so we're going to do some revisiting of the biggest stuff from this year as well as some new things for next year."
---
"For the first new thing for next year," said Miles, after recapping some of the events from 2022, "It's no secret that Animalia is drawing some new people who are... more about looks than they are about brains than some people...." said Miles, sadly shaking his head before continuing. "While Lyre/Animalia is the most popular, so far, with Dino City being the third most popular, the other place they've been showing up is Mieni Atoll, no doubt because of its tropical climate. Because of this, there's been more than a little bit of a housing problem, partially due to keeping Mieni Atoll and its unique wildlife as untouched as possible. Fortunately, one cruise line company has come up with an unusual solution: one of their ships, which is basically a floating luxury hotel, is reaching the end of its operational lifespan and is going to be donated to Mieni Atoll as a permanent tourist attraction/hotel/apartment complex (Angelyn's idea). So, once it's in place and renovated for Animalians, it'll be opened during the Summer."
---
"Speaking of the Summer," said Miles, after a commercial break, "This coming summer is the 2023 International Animalia Convention, so be prepared for an extra special event coming up alongside the sporting events, as well as the comparisons between amateur Animalian athletes and Olympic Athletes.
---
"In 'Colony News'," said Miles, after some more stories from 2022, "Vilcabamba had its own Christmas Celebration, which is actually nothing like North America's Christmas celebrations, considering that Vilcabamba is in a tropical rainforest south of the Equator. My co-host has gone south for the winter alongside several other bird Animalians and some winged reptile Dinotopians, some of which decided to do long-distance flying without airplanes and will be doing special coverage of the celebrations there.

"For news from the weather," said Miles, "It's no secret that America has been 'gifted' with a once-in-a-generation snowstorm on Christmas. While it's no secret that some areas were hit harder than others, it doesn't mean that it hit equally across the board. Nate Bowman's farm got a less severe blow that turned it into something for a postcard of a "White Christmas", but a fire hydrant in town burst due to the severe cold. It was eventually shut off, but not before turning all the snow on the street into ice. Fortunately, that street was plowed before the hydrant burst so not all the snow was frozen solid, and also not everyone will take annoyance at the resulting ice." (Arnold's Grandpa: "Ice Rink!!!")

"And finally," said Miles, as he reached the end of the episode, "Thanks to our newest members, some of which went to the same school as Gloria von Guten, Animalia's new community theater (not for movies, sorry) is having something extra special planned for this coming Spring Festival and it'll be featuring the Dinotopians. While they want it to be a surprise, I can reveal that it won't feature anyone dancing to Walk the Dinosaur, thank goodness. So, see you all next year and Happy New Year.
