Rick continued to search for the camera at the mall, checking every possible store it might have ended up at but to no avail. Devastated, Rick succumbed to his transformation and assumed his, or rather her, new life as Rebecca Powell, loving wife to her new husband and expecting mother of a little girl. And thanks to some residue camera magic, Rebecca would slowly over time start to feel more at ease in her new life and enjoy living as a young woman, even beginning to prefer it to her old male life.
Speaking of the camera, the reason Rebecca could never find it was because it was now a part of her unborn daughter Emily! Since Emily was the one holding the camera when taking that faithful photo, the camera would stay with her post-transformation. However, because she ended up as a fetus, and because having a polaroid in the womb was completely unfeasible, the camera decided its best course of action was to fuse with Emily and embed her with its transforming magic.
With this, Emily will now inherit all of the camera’s reality altering powers. She’ll be able to change and alter anything and everything about herself, another person or even reality itself! Emily would have complete control over a person’s gender, age, personality, race, body, history and relationships or even transform them into an entirely different species or inanimate object! She’ll also have the ability to enact mental changes on people as well as decide who is and isn’t aware of her changes.
However, Emily won’t have full control of her powers straight away. While she may have some control over when she uses her transforming abilities once she first receives them, Emily will only be able to enact random changes with them. It would take a few years of practice to fully master the camera’s transforming magic.
Speaking of which, when does Emily discover her new transforming powers?
