"Neither, now leave me alone!" she said before she hung up the phone.
But the curse doesn't show mercy. Unbeknownst to Jennifer, the countdown in Kyle's head had reached zero, which meant that he could do whatever he wanted with her. His first thought was to change her attitude.
"Transformation, transformation," he muttered before an idea popped into his mind. "Aha! Jennifer, your transformation will give you the ability to transform other people at will. It will be as if you have always had this power, yet no one but you knows about it.
"And now for your dare. Your dare will be to help as many people you come across as possible. You will believe that this is of your free will. But, you can only use your transformation powers to help other people, and you will do it in all the wrong ways. This is your curse."
And as he spoke those words, so they were immortalised, and a kilometre away, wisps of magic wove themselves into the skin of the unknowing girl.
Jennifer, who was just about to walk out the door, stopped for a second and straightened. Something had changed, and it was as if a veil had been lifted from her mind. Oh my goodness, I've been such a horrible person! she realized. How could I ever do such mean things to people? From now on, I promise to be a better person, and help whoever I meet.
With that goal firmly solidified in her mind, she strode off to school with a new purpose. From that day forth, she would not be Jen, the bully, the slut, the bitch. She would be Jennifer, the helpful, the kind, a hero to all. Now, all she had to do was start helping people.
