The age spell started wearing off when you neared Tina’s apartment, barely perceptible at first, but by the time you got to the door, Tina looked like she was playing dress-up and had to carry her shoes since they were too big to stay on.
Tina let out a small sigh as she locked the apartment door behind you. “That was definitely an experience,” she said.
“Hm?” You murmur, focusing more on placing your own shoes on the mat.
Shoes were an entirely new experience for you, to be honest. As part of your connection to nature, the forest would go out of its way to keep you from harm, moving stinging nettles or sharp rocks away before you could step on them. On the occasion you needed to travel through the tougher parts of the settlement near your home, you always just shaped your feet into hooves.
You really could do the same here but Frederick insisted you buy at least two pairs of shoes for the city. You didn’t mind them, and it was definitely more comfortable than walking barefoot on pavement. The shoemaker elf was very kind and- oh wait, Tina is saying something.
“Well I was just thinking about how all these older guys were looking at me, and you too,” Tina said. “It felt weird, but I guess I did look older.”
“I’m sorry, I don’t really understand. I was the only young one in my village, and men who came around were usually focused on my mother,” you state.
“Anyway, lets see about getting my normal body back. That age progression magic wore off pretty quick, can you tell me when the gender change one will wear off?” Tina asked.
“I… can’t really tell,” you admitted. “That was the first time I had ever used magic outside of my body, and I wasn’t focusing too hard on the amount of magic I used.”
You thought for a moment.
“I might be able to get a better idea if I’m able to get closer contact with your body. Or maybe I could try some of the training exercises my mother did when she was practicing magic around me…”
“In the meanwhile,” Tina interjected, “can you try making me look a little more boyish? At least my voice and these breasts?”
“Yes I should, just remove those clothes and turn down the lights so I can focus better,” you order.
