Now a 3 year old tropical Tigress and her cub, you consider your options. You can try and leave now, which may cause a panic at seeing you as you are - a Tiger. Option two involves trying to look at other mirrors in the hopes of becoming more human.
You think about family and friends who will miss you if you don’t return. You also consider that you have looked at a few mirrors and you haven’t gotten very close to returning to normal.
You decide to remain, somewhat making the choice for “your” cub as well. You close your eyes and slowly try to retrace your steps. It’s not far, but the pace and uncertainty make it feel far.
You soon make it out. Opening your eyes as the light of day illuminated your eyelids. The reaction as leave the house of mirrors is somewhat expected. Some guests point at you and yell, “Tiger!”
You lay down, clinging to your cub, so as to reduce the anxiety in the guests and curb your own exhaustion following the transformation.
A few security personnel come into view holding tranquilizer guns. You think to yourself. A sharp poke breaks your skin, a yelp escapes “your” cub, and your vision begins to darken.
As you awaken you look around for “your” cub. You find them cuddling you. Your vision scans the scene and you see you are now located in a well funded Zoo within a well sized enclosure.
Now that you are away from the House of Mirrors, and inside the Zoo, you consider that your chances of returning to normal are very slim. It seems you will need to get used to your life as a Tropics Tiger with a cub to care for.
